MTech Computer network and Information Security: Admission Process 

Admissions to this course is done on the basis of the valid rank obtained in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering  (GATE). The admission process starts after the result of the Graduation is published. The aspiring candidates are required to sit for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) examination. Then they need to fill in the application form. Once the candidates are done with filling the application form, the authority checks the application form. The candidates are selected on the basis of the Score obtained by them in GATE.

• The admission is based on the score obtained in the GATE examination.

MTech Computer network and Information Security: Eligibility Criteria 

Students aspiring for the M. Tech in Computer Network and Information Security course must fulfill the eligibility criteria for applying. The eligibility criteria are:

• Candidates must have cleared their B.E./B.Tech degree with a minimum of 55% marks and above as aggregate. A 5% relaxation is given to candidates belonging to SC and ST category.
• Those who have qualified their M.Sc. degree in CS or IT or have cleared MCA with an aggregate of 55% marks and above are also eligible for the program.
• Candidates must have a valid score in the GATE examination in CSE or ECE in order to get selected for admission
• The candidates with work experience of two years will be prioritized for admission.

MTech Computer network and Information Security: Entrance Exams 

The candidates applying for M. Tech must appear for the Graduate Aptitude Test (GATE). The exam pattern of GATE is given below.

• It is an Online examination of duration 3 hours.
• The question paper is of 100 marks, where the students need to attend 65 multiple-choice questions.
• There are three sections of the question paper, they are General Aptitude, Engineering Mathematics, and Subject of choice.
