Subject	Description
Engineering Properties of Soils Foundation Engineering	Understanding of basic properties and foundation of soil.
Soil Dynamics & Machine Foundations	This topic covers all the major forms of damping of importance for soil dynamics problems, viscous damping and hysteretic damping.
Rock Mechanics	It is the study of theoretical and applied science of the mechanical behavior.
Earth Dams & Slope Stability	Understanding of the slope stability, dynamic stability of slopes of earth and rock-fill dams, slopes of other types of embankments.
Earth Pressure	Learn about the various issues of earth pressure and techniques to handle them.
Clay Mineral logy	Study of the characteristic minerals of the earths near surface environments. They form in soils and sediments, and by diagenetic and hydrothermal alteration of rocks.

Geotechnical Exploration and Advanced Soil Testing	Learn how to obtain information on the physical properties of soil and rock around a site to design and maintain earthworks for the proposed structures.
Advanced Rock Mechanics	This subject includes all the applications of rock mechanics and investigation of rock masses for testing of rocks.
Neuro-fuzzy Applications in Civil Engineering	The application of the neuro-fuzzy system is established to predict the compressive strength of concrete.
Case Histories in Geotechnical Engineering	Analysis of case studies in geotechnical engineering to solve the related issues in future.
Computer Aided Design of Foundations	Use of computer aided design for the preparation of design structure of any land and building.
Flow through Porous Media	In this study, we will learn about flow through porous media which is the manner in which fluids behave when filtering water using sand or another porous material.
Pavement Analysis & Design	Understanding of joints in the pavement slab, and help to release pressure due to temperature variation.
Engineering Geology	Study and understanding the different fields of the earth sciences.
Modeling and Simulation	It is the study of getting information about how something will react and behave without actually testing it in real life.
Computational and Statistical Methods	Use of statistical data and information for the large data bases.
Environmental Impact Assessment	Learn the process of evaluation of environmental impacts of development in a proposed project.
Soil-Structure Interaction	Learn the process of responses of the soil which influences the motion of the structure and vice-versa.
