Syllabus of Master of Business Administration [MBA] (Retail Management) is designed as per the latest needs of industry and revised accordingly to keep it updated.  The course aims to train students to identify problems in retail management and come up with solutions apply their managerial skills.

Core courses, electives and practical experience form part of its syllabus. The delivery method of this course offers a balanced approach by incorporating classroom learning along with workshops, industrial visits and internship programs.

Ans. The PGDM in Retail Management at KJ Somaiya is a relatively new course and not much can be said about its worth. But I have a friend who is currently pursuing RM at KJ Somaiya. According to him, it’s a good choice for someone with interest in this field to pursue this course because The courses at SIMSR are at par with international curriculum. Great exposure and learning through events held throughout the year. One such main event is the Retail Mela. Many committees and student clubs have been set up to promote extracurricular activities  The faculty is experienced and qualified. It does not undervalue the new courses at all. One of the best campuses of India with great infrastructure and facilities. The companies that you should aim for are Ikeya, Walmart ,Future Etc. All this makes the course worth trying.Read more

Ans. BIMTECH, Greater Noida one of the most desired and highly ranked B-schools in India. It is a preferred destination for MBA or PGDM for CAT 2020 aspirants. Great learning, decent placements, and relatively modest CAT cut-off used in shortlisting for flagship PGDP add to the key strengths of this coveted B-school. Admission:  BIMTECH will accept CAT, XAT to shortlist candidates for the final admission round for PGDM.  For admission to PGDM (RM) and PGDM (IBM), an aspirant is required to have a valid CAT / MAT / XAT / GMAT / CMAT score.  The Retail Management admission is admissible through the MAT / CMAT score also.  Minimum 60 percentile in CAT / XAT and minimum of 80 percentile in MAT/CMAT is required.
