• An undergraduate degree (or equivalent) and at least 2 years’ work experience. 
• Candidates are required to demonstrate academic excellence. This can be achieved through either previous tertiary academic qualifications or strong GMAT / GRE test score.

• Four years full-time work experience post-graduation, including at least two of the four years in a dedicated management role
• Bachelor degree or equivalent with a GPA of at least 4.50 on a 7-point scale
• OR Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from UQ or equivalent with a GPA of at least 4.50 on a 7-point scale 
• International applicants must complete the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) with a minimum score of 550

When you study the Master of Information Technology at UNSW you’ll learn to foresee future technology requirements and develop applications, frameworks, products and services in areas such as networking, data mining, robotics and internet services. You'll undertake a research project that addresses a specific topic or problem from information technology or interaction design. And you'll be involved in all aspects of research, from defining a topic and methodology to presenting your results

• A 3-year undergraduate degree equivalent to a standard Australian Bachelor degree in a discipline containing 3 courses of second-year university level mathematics or equivalent, and a minimum 65% average

You’ll learn in a contemporary learning environment and gain practical experience by accessing our state-of-the-art Bloomberg Trading Room and by participating in the Student Managed Investment Fund project. You'll also be encouraged to consider ethical behaviour in commerce and corporate social responsibility.

As a master's student, you can undertake 2 fields of study or additional research electives, which may provide a pathway to higher degrees by research.

• The degree’s admission requirements are based on you having a recognised undergraduate degree (or equivalent qualification) with a credit average (WAM 65% or higher), as determined by the UNSW Business School.
• You may be considered eligible if your undergraduate degree WAM is between 60-64% and your GMAT score is 600 or above.

• A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline, or
• A Graduate Certificate in Commerce from UQ (or equivalent)
