The campus is located in the center of the San Francisco Peninsula. Settled on 8,180 acres of land, the campus is located approx. 37 miles southeast of San Francisco and approx. 20 miles northwest of San Jose.

4 libraries: houses 4,574,050 (print plus electronic) volumes; University libraries also offer technical equipment and software, rare and unique research materials, a café, digital and analog listening stations, a technology lab, scores, books, and music periodicals.
