Its best even for MBA executive you can go for just executive program after having working experience and its the best way to elevate your working position.

NMIMS Mumbai is best. Exposure in cities like Mumbai, BLR, Pune, Delhi is the best. Don’t go for IIM unless it is the main ones

See top 250 people get good placements. Next 150 so so (tier 2). Baki sab bhagwan bharose. A Lott of people do unpaid summer internships or shit internship with 10k etc stipend (tier 3 level). Only if you have a great profile like 9/9/9 or good work ex you'll stand out. Otherwise it's all luck. Plus no campus extra expenses on rent, non residential etc.

Nmims Bombay alum. I’d suggest going for it over baby IIMs. When i graduated the whole hue and cry that baby IIMs will be a bigger brand had started. It is still nowhere close IMHO. Is nmims worth it? Purely from a value for money, I think there is a strong argument against it. (Bombay is expensive) Would I still recommend it? yes. Personally didn’t miss campus life (had my share during undergrad) which I think is the only major point against nmims

Yeah it's very competitive. If you do well you can expect a salary of 17-18 lacs too, let alone the package. My friend got an internship at Goldman Sachs in their IB div so good companies recruit but you need to be in the top quartile of your batch for the really good packages. Though their average seems good too

I did my dual degree from NM Mumbai. Core MBA from NMAT is good. The quality of teachers is good and they do get good package. One feature which you wont get in some smalltime MBA college is the presence in Mumbai. Being in the city is costly but it has its own rewards. The companies and quality of folks you meet will help. The infrastructure provided is also good. Overall its worth it.

I did my MBA in HR from Nmims a few years ago. The fees were 16.5 LPA back then. Got placed at a 12 LPA package. That was kind of the average for my batch (HR was around 80 students) or maybe slightly below average. A few people got 18 and 20 LPA packages but those were just a handful. Quite a few got placed in the 10-16 LPA range. Some got 6-10 LPA packages also. Placement is not just based on merit, it's very luck based also. You may get placed very early with a company that is not offering a huge package and then you obviously can't sit for further companies. By luck, better paying companies may arrive later and still unplaced students may crack them and get a better package than you. So really can't say. The goal is always to get placed as early as possible - don't count on getting a better company later and leave the decent companies that come early. Few points - Far as i know, no one was left unplaced at the end. Faculty and management have contacts in corporates so the few students who are struggling to get placed when placement season ends, are helped somehow into these corporates. You can get good houses at 15k rent in vile parle also, but obviously on a sharing basis. There are 2 bhks available for around 60k, you can have 3 flatmates. 2 people in each room is pretty standard. Nmims Mumbai doesn't have a great ROI, everyone knows that. But end of the day it's a decent brand of B school, you will get placed at a decent package, and alumni network is pretty good. Batch is so huge that there are alumni in practically every big and small company. Look at the pros and cons and make your decision, good luck.

I have talked to few people who are currently studying at NM or have passed out from NM. Top 40% do get good packages (22 lakhs+) Rest around 15-17 lakhs. They accept 600 students, you can't expect them to get all 600 of them 25+ packages. Just be in top 40% and you will be fine. Here, I'm not considering other expenses like rent etc. I'm just talking about packages.
