RITM Lucknow Course Admission 2025: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

Rameshwaram Institute of Technology and Management was established in 2002. It is located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh and is approved by AICTE.

RITM offers B.Tech and B.Pharm at UG level and M.Tech, M.Pharm, MBA and PGDM at PG level. The institute also offers Diploma courses such as Engineering Diploma and D.Pharma.

The Institute accepts GATE score for M.Tech, GPAT score for M.Pharm and CAT/MAT score for MBA. In case of PGDM, RITM considers the score of management entrance exams such as CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT,etc.

For securing admission in Engineering Diploma, students need to take JEECUP exam. Based on the score, the qualified students will be called for JEECUP counselling where they will be allotted a seat for admission.

RITM is famous for its B.Tech course and the institute has witnessed maximum placements for the same. Some students of Engineering Diploma and MBA also got placed in reputed firms.

RITM UG Eligibility

Eligibility for B.Tech

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with PCM and have obtained at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST).

NOTE - Candidates who hold an Engineering Diploma or B.Sc degree with 50% marks are eligible for B.Tech Lateral Entry.

Eligibility for B.Pharm

Candidates must have passed intermediate examination or equivalent from any recognized board/university with PCM/PCB and have obtained at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST).

NOTE - Candidates who have successfully passed their D.Pharm exam with at least 60% marks are eligible for B.Pharm Lateral Entry, provided they have appeared and cleared the UPSEE exam.

RITM UG Selection Criteria

• For admission into B.Tech and B.Pharm courses, candidates need to take the UPSEE exam.
• The qualified candidates will be called for the UPSEE Counselling depending upon the the UPSEE rank list.
• During the counselling round, candidates need to register online using their UPSEE application number and password, pay the counselling fee and upload their documents for verification
• After verification, students have to proceed to fill the preferred choice of course and college (RIMT Lucknow). 
• For selecting college, students have to pick Rameshwaram Institute of Technology and Management.
• The concerned authority will then consider the choices filled, rank obtained and seat available in order to allot seats to applicants.
• Those who will be allotted a seat need to confirm it if they are satisfied with the allotment.
• At last candidates need to report at the allotted college along with their documents to complete further admission formalities.

RITM PG Eligibility

Eligibility for M.Tech

Students who want to pursue M.Tech degree at the institute must have a B.Tech degree in relevant stream from a recognized institute with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates).

Eligibility for M.Pharm

For admission in the M.Pharm course, candidates must have a B.Pharm degree with no less than 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates).

RITM PG Selection Criteria

• The institute will provide admission to students in M.Tech and M.Pharm courses based on the UPSEE score.
• However, candidates with a valid GATE score and GPAT score are also considered for admission into M.Tech and M.Pharm courses respectively.
• The qualified candidates have to actively take part in the UPSEE Counselling.
• During the counselling, applicants have to register, upload their documents, pay the counselling fee and fill the choice of course and college.
• Seat will be allotted to eligible students based on the rank, choices filled and availability of seats.
• Such students need to confirm the seat and lastly report at the allotted college for further admission process.

RITM MBA Eligibility

The minimum requirement for MBA is a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).

RITM MBA Selection Criteria

• Admission to the MBA is based on the score obtained in the UPSEE exam.
• Applicants who have qualified CAT/MAT exams are also considered for MBA admission. While, those who have qualified any of the management exams like CAT/MAT/CMAT, etc are given admission in PGDM course.
• Further, such candidates have to participate in the UPSEE counselling for which they have to register online and then fill the choice of course and college.
• The concerned authority will allot seats based on the rank secured in the qualifying exam and choice filled.
• Students who will be allotted a seat need to confirm it and then report at the college to complete remaining admission formalities.

Eligibility

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).

NOTE - For pursuing Engineering Diploma at RITM Lucknow, candidates must have passed 10+2 with PCM. Whereas, in case of D.Pharm candidates must have passed 10+2 with PCM or PCB.

RITM Diploma Selection Criteria

• The institute offers admission in Engineering Diploma through JEECUP Counselling based on the JEECUP score. 
• While, RITM considers UPSEE score for offering admission into D.Pharm course.
• During the counselling, applicants will be able to fill the choice of course and college.
• Based on these choices and rank scored in the qualifying exam, seats are allotted to candidates.
• If satisfied with the allotment then students need to confirm the allotted seat.
• Finally, they have to report at the college to complete other formalities.
