Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research popularly known as DIPSAR , established in 1964. DIPSAR Admission 2025

Admission at DIPSAR is strictly based on the merit list published by the college. Candidates, who want to take up any Undergraduate or Postgraduate course in the college should fill up the application form available online

In DIPSAR, 22.5% of the seats are reserved for SC and ST categories, while 27% of the available seats in the Delhi category are designated for the OBC category during the admissions process.

Candidates who want to get admission in the M.Pharma program will have to appear in the GPAT. Admissions will be provided based on combined marks of UG degree and the GPAT Score. DIPSAR Admission criteria for the B.Pharma program is decided by the University itself.

How to Apply?

The application forms are available and accepted through online mode only.
Candidates need to visit the DIPSAR official website and search for the Online Admission option present at the top panel.
The applicant should Sign Up for Online Registration.
Applicants should then Log In and then fill up the application form with all the personal details, educational qualifications, and other important documents required, very cautiously.
After filling it out with the necessary details, submit the form to start with the payment procedure.
To pay the Application Fees, the applicant needs to choose from the given options of payment method Debit/Credit/Wallet/UPI.
After paying, confirm the application status as “Submitted” and “Paid”.
If your eligibility criteria and document verification is passed then you may get selected.
Wait until the Admission status is revealed through the merit list and then proceed to the admission fee payment procedure.

DISPAR offers the best infrastructure on campus to aid students with enhanced educational experiences.It has the campus spread over an area of 10.36 acres Some of the facilities are as follows:

Laboratories: The laboratories are well-equipped with advanced medical equipment to aid practical sessions.
Cafeteria: DIPSAR provides a cafeteria serving healthy and hygienic food on campus at affordable prices.
Auditorium: The institute also houses an auditorium equipped with sound, audio and visual projectors to host club activities, cultural events and seminars.
Sports: Students are encouraged to participate in sports facilities such as basketball, tennis, cricket, badminton, volleyball, football and others.

DIPSAR Boys Hostel

Hostel & Canteen

The hostels are primarily available for students from Inside the campus, with fees ranging. Most rooms accommodate 3-4 students, with some facilities offering 2-seater rooms equipped with furniture and Common bathroom. Mess facilities are available across all hostels, almost all the hostels inside the campus have a mess, while others rely on three campus canteens.

The total fee is INR 15000 for UG students and INR 16000 for PG students, which includes the application fee (₹100), security deposit (₹5,000), and regular hostel fee. Mess charges of ₹15,000 per semester are compulsory. An extra ₹1,000 will be charged for cooler use in summer.

To apply, students must submit the filled application form with admission proof, fee receipts, Aadhar and address proof (self, parents, guardian), affidavit, photos, identity form, and a medical fitness certificate from DPSRU. No hostel is provided during internship.

DIPSAR Scholarship

The college offers various scholarships and financial assistance for students based on merit, category, and economic background. Scholarships are available for minority students, those excelling in academics and sports, and students from economically weaker sections with an annual family income below 3 lakhs. Delhi government and central government schemes such as the National Scholarship Portal and e-district Delhi are applicable, offering support to SC/ST/OBC and EWS students.Some of the important Scholarship are mentioned below:

PG Scholarship: INR 12,400/month for two years offered to GPAT-qualified M.Pharm and MBA students

AICTE Doctoral Fellowship : Available for full-time Ph.D.researchers in institutes recognized by AICTE.
Pragati Scholarship: Provides INR 50,000 annually for outstanding female students in diploma or degree programs.
Saksham Scholarship: Grants INR 50,000 annually for differently-abled students enrolled in diploma or degree courses.
PMSSS (for J&K and Ladakh students): Offers INR 1,00,000 for living expenses plus up to INR 3,00,000 for academic fees each year for B.Pharm and other degrees.

Ans. DIPSAR (Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research) was first founded in 1964 as the Department of Pharmacy at the University of Delhi, located at Kashmiri Gate Polytechnic. It was subsequently renamed DIPSAR in 2004. When Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU) was created in 2008, DIPSAR became one of its constituent colleges. DPSRU began its official operations in 2015, with both institutions sharing the same campus.

Classrooms - The classrooms there are spacious and there are conditioning facilities available too. It can accomodate approximately 150 students
Library- The library there has each and every book available. And all the versions of pharmacopoeia are available too
Campus - Talking about the campus, it's not that big but it is sufficient for the students as very less people get selected every year

Dislikes

The infrastructure of DIPSAR is not that great as compared to DPSRU. But the building of DIPSAR is also under renovation and it has improved a lot
Hostel- The hostel is average but when compared to a govt. College it's bearable.

Packages Offered and Top Companies visiting DIPSAR

During the 4th year, the students become eligible for campus placements. The list of companies that come in bachelor's are Sanjivani Pharmaceuticals, Wings pharmaceuticals, Root Analysis etc. The highest package offered by the company is around 3.5 lac and the average package is around 2-2.5 lac.

Are there any scholarships or fee concessions available for students? What financial assistance options are provided?

The yearly fees when I joined the college was INR 43,500. But it increases by some percent every year. For the EWS category, there is some concession in the fees. There are also scholarships available for those who needs financial assistance.

Why did you choose DIPSAR?

Choosing B Pharmacy can be influenced by several aspects 1. Practical experience 2 comprehensive science foundation 3. Career opportunities The curriculum of B Pharmacy is designed to prepare students for real world applications in many ways: 1.Clinical experience 2. laboratory skills 3. Ethical training Exams - 2 sessional and 1 semester exam in each semester There are morning (11am) and afternoon (2pm) shifts for exam.

Societies, Clubs and Committees at DIPSAR

There are various college societies available Aakriti, Raag, Malang, Verve, Fitoor. Rotaract club is also in the college. Their main work is during any festival, farewell etc. Talking about the fests, no annual fests are held due to the lack of space. There is a small ground in the campus where you can play basketball, badminton, cricket etc.

How would you rate the hostel facilities at your college? What is the condition of the rooms, and what services are provided?

The condition of the hostel is not that great but when compared to any Govt. College it's not that bad. The rooms are two sharing and they provide a single bed, chair, study table and an almirah to each person. You get breakfast, lunch, tea with some snacks and dinner. And the quality is average. The registration is done online and the fees is 15k per semester.

How would you describe the faculty at your college? Are the faculty members approachable, and what qualifications do they hold?

All the faculties ther are well qualified. Everyone has done PhD there and some of them have done Post-Doc also. Some of the teachers guide you alot if you want guidance in anything. Many students in my college were writing review articles under them.

What is the admission process like at your college? What are the eligibility criteria, and are there any reservations or special quotas?

To get admission into the college, you need to have good percent in 12th class. You can get the application form directly from the website i.e. dpsru.edu.in Talking about the exams, 2 sessional exams and one semester exam are held in one semester. There are some reservations for Defence, EWS, SC, ST.

Well it's a govt college and most importantly it's the oldest Pharma clg in India.... So it is my first choice...it itself is a brand... I am a lateral entry student and it is my first choice.. But except it I also applied for Guru Ghasidas in Chattisgarh...I also get a chance there but I decided for dipsar... In West Bengal.... Jadavpur and jalpaiguri is also very good option... But u need to clear an exam jelet to get an addmission there... In dipsar... Lateral entry student are taken on the marks basis...marks of diploma course For direct bpharm..it's also marks basis over 12th marks.,..

Admission:

Delhi institute of pharmaceutical sciences and research is a top pharmacy College in India and it is the first government Pharmacy college in India. I applied to multiple pharmacy colleges and even gave cuet. But the Dipsar list and the other pharmacy colleges came out before cuet. I got multiple offers from different colleges but I chose dipsar as it is the top pharmacy college for Delhi. It also has a big name in the pharmacy line which will hello for future career development along the way.

The overall campus is very good and we can take bus from the gate of University also metro station is nearby to college

Which is only pharmacy University in India ranks 1 and ranks 3 in the world So that why I decided to take the admission in the college. The merit list of candidates seeking admission to B. Pharm. will be prepared on the basis of aggregate of the three subjects (theory and practical taken together) Physics, Chemistry&Biology /Mathematics. If candidate has taken both mathematics and biology, the best of two will be considered for third subject after Physics and Chemistry. The fee for the BPharma course is INR 35,335.
