Sir L A Shah Law College LL.B Admission 2023

Sir L A Shah Law College offers a 3-year LL.B course at the UG level. Candidates must secure at least 45% marks both in aggregate and in the last 2 semesters in Bachelor’s degree to be eligible for admission.

Admission is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying degree. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks scored in graduation, 10th and 10+2.

Sir L A Shah Law College offers a 2-year LL.M in Business Law and a PG Diploma in Intellectual Property Law at the PG level. Candidates must obtain at least 50% marks in LL.B/BA LL.B or equivalent course from a recognized university to be eligible for admission.

Admission to LL.M is based on the merit in LL.B, marks in 10th and 10+2. PG Diploma admission is based on the merit in the qualifying examination.

Sir L A Shah Law College offers Ph.D. in Law for candidates who have obtained LL.M or equivalent Master’ degree in Law with at least 60% marks in aggregate.

Admission to Ph.D. is based on an entrance test conducted by Gujarat University followed by a personal interview round. Final selection is done on the basis of a candidate’s academic record, entrance test score and GDPI performance.

Sir L A Shah College Application Process 2023

Candidates must visit the official website of Gujarat University and register themselves. They need to pay the registration fee stipulated by the Admission Committee of the University. Candidates must mention all educational and personal details carefully and upload scanned self-attested photocopies of the following documents:

Standard 10 Mark sheet.
Standard 12 Mark sheet.
LL.B last three years or last six semesters mark sheets/Five years Integrated LL.B. Examination mark sheets (If applicable).
LL.M Mark sheets (Second Last Year/Last 2 semesters (If applicable).
Transfer Certificate.
Photocopy of Aadhar Card.
Provisional Eligibility Certificate (PEC) to be issued by the Gujarat University for Non-GU candidates.
Caste certificate for SC, ST and Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) candidates issued by the competent authority.
Non Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate of the family, issued after April 1 of the current academic year, by Gujarat Government Authority.
Certificate of Physical Disability, issued and signed by the Civil Surgeon/ competent Medical Authority (for PH candidates).

After registration, candidates must log on to the university website to check allotment status. If satisfied with the allotted institute, they must pay INR 500/INR 200 for SC/ST towards LL. B part payment or INR 1000/INR 500 towards LL.M part payment of admission fees at the designated bank branch.

Note: Non-Gujarat University and Reserved category candidates must get their original documents physically verified at a Help Centre designated by the Gujarat University. They must carry a print-out of the completed Registration Form.

A perfect place to study and grow

Admission:

College timings are morning. Lecturer/professor starts it's teaching sharp 7:30 am. No students allowed after 7:45 for first lectut. 8:35 there is another lecture and 9:45 there is third lecture. After that practical and research related works are there till 1 pm. Infrastructure is good. Environment is good. Staff is supportive. It add value in knowledge. Crowd is fine as students from good college mostly take admission here. Parking facilities are also there. Canteen is there. Principal is also friendly. Girls safety is also there.

The college offers courses in Law fraternity in both English as well as regional language. Therefore students from regional language base can also easily understand the lectures delivered. The faculties being supportive can mentor in various feilds.
