Faculty:

The ratio is almost 1:50 but it doesn't seem overcrowded and the faculties are able to control and interact with the crowd which is very much professional and mandatory. In this case our faculties has expertise to maintain the decorum of the class and interact with the students without any complications. The professors are highly educated and the students are given the chance to ask questions freely, engage in discussions and get guidance for internships, moots and research.

All of the faculty members are good and friendly,they are easy to communicate. I like Amrita chetia ma'am our political science teacher she is strict but as well as sweet with students and we are just about to finished our viva sessions and then we will start our sessional 2 test

About College Life

The teachers are very good and friendly. There are mostly female teacher. If we have any doubt we can easily approach the subject teacher and can clear our doubt. I like most of the teachers they are very friendly

A boon and a curse of acquiring knowledge .

Dislikes

Not all but some of the lectureres seems racist and some prefer taking classes in assamese where it is an english/hindi medium college .

Typically , the faculty to student ratio is good but some seems to be racist . Afterall , we pay so much to be treated differently . A faculty by the name Maam pinky seems very friendly to the students and prefer to teach in a professional way . It is just some handful faculty memebers who seems racist that tarnishes the image of the whole faculty . The exams are conducted as 2 sessional exams for 20 marks and 1 end semester exam for 80 marks . The markings for the exams seems quite suspicious since the end semester exam papers goes to the Gauhati University for paper checks , usually there is always an error in the system where some who writes an exam properly fails and some who gives a blank page gets passed .

The environment is very good and the faculty is highly professional.

Faculty to students ratio is likely 2-30 but overall the quality of teaching is good and the best part is you can approach and teacher if you have any doubt they will clear it they are so generous they will give their phone number to call for any doubts. Regarding syllabus not to worry about notes you will be spoon feeded.

Reviewing my college

Our curriculum is at par with that of any NLUs and almost all our professors have 10+ years of teaching experience.

Faculty to student ratio is somewhere around 1:8. Well, teaching is way par then my expectations as one would imagine that a government College means inexperienced teachers and no mentorship. To my surprise it was exactly the opposite that I have seen as all my teachers are well experienced and are the best mentors to rub shoulders with.

The teachers are highly skilled and qualified, there are moee then 40 teaching staff each teacher are qualified in the subjects they are teaching AS THE AUTHORITIES BELIEVES in top qualification and faculty.

I must say, my college have one of the best faculty members in the state, apart from helping the students the teachers are more keen towards knowing the various other interst of the students And they clear all the doubts regarding each and every topic.
