Dispur Law College BA LLB Admission Process 2025

1. Application Form Submission

Students can apply for admission either offline or online. For offline mode, the application form is available at the college office for INR 500. In the online mode, students can visit the official admission portal of the college. The form should be filled carefully and submitted with all necessary documents before the last date. Late or incomplete forms will not be accepted.

2. Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the B.A. LL.B. program, students must have passed 10+2 from any stream. The minimum marks required are 45% for General category, 42% for OBC, and 40% for SC/ST. Even if a student meets the percentage criteria, it does not mean they will get direct admission. The college also follows the age limit rules set by the Bar Council of India.

3. Required Documents

For admission, students need to bring original documents at the time of the interview. These include Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, a character certificate from the last school attended, caste certificate (if applicable), and two passport-size photos. These documents are used for verification during the admission process.

4. Interview Process

After checking the applications, the college will call selected students for an interview. The interview will be conducted by the Admission Committee. It is compulsory to attend the interview. The college will announce the date and details of the interview on its official website.

5. Merit List & Selection

After the interviews, the college will prepare a merit list based on students' performance in the interview. If two students get the same marks in the interview, their marks in the 12th exam will be used to decide who ranks higher. Students whose names appear in the merit list will be offered admission.

6. Admission Rules

The Admission Committee has full rights to accept or reject any application. If any student submits fake documents or hides any important information, their admission will be cancelled even after they are admitted. All students must follow the admission rules strictly.
