Likes

College teachers of my department especially were very cooperative.
The infrastructure is clean with all the required amenities.

Dislikes

There is no proper placement facility for students of the college.We didn't got any placement opportunity in our department but maybe things have improved in this matter too.

Placement Experience:

I m not sure of placement process of other courses.As compared to placement opportunities of other colleges there are very less here. Students of my department went for off campus placement options. In terms of internship opportunities it was a average experience here.

The college of my dreams

Likes

The best thing about our college is its teaching faculty. They are really helping and intelligent. They help students in every aspect and are always ready to support the students.
The other best part of our college is its social involvement in social affairs and highly engaged politiical bodies.

Dislikes

One thing i dont like is the poor condition of buildings as it need repairing and modifications. The classes can be designed better.

Internships Opportunities:

As i am doing graduation, the college provides us interships after our completion of graduations. It includes different projects regarding our subjects including some college placements.Our college also provides interships and college placements after post graduation.

well the faculty is great educated and supportive towards the student.
Well i am an English literature student my studies are going as smooth as a cream.

Dislikes

There is no mandotry attendence. The building is geeting old need renovation.
Renovation should be done in entire college

Internships Opportunities:

Well the college should give , provide internships and placements it will give some real experience towards the the goal internships give you the experience as I am the 2nd year student as I have the knowledge about this but my ears don't catch these news. So the college should do something about it.

Skills and hardwork matter ...!

if you are a basketball player you would enjoy there.And there us also a good thing that there is facilities of ncc ,to make you like a cadet. Good facilities of library and books.better faculties for students guidence and better response.
If any student want to to side by side job or want to prepare for any competative exam they can do it .

Dislikes

Yes there is not that much good infrastructure at college and not good space for parking inside the campus. Sports activities organised but not that much facilities for more sports.
Sometime there is very rush there in exam time and any other time like have to deposit some important documents.

Internships Opportunities:

Not much internship exposure in the college and aslo there is not any much more intership programmes organised. Any company would not higher any one on the behalf of college.uf any one don't have any skills company would not higher them this is simple agendas at present time If any student wants to build some skill during the college time they can do it But don't make any misconceptions in your mind that you will do a course and get graduation degree from college and out of nowhere any company will higher you on the bases of that degree.

Dav pg college dehradun's b. Ed course : inexpensive, easy and underrated

Likes

The Faculty is better than most of the top private collges. Very intelligent and excellent teachers.
The whole environment of the b. Ed department is very light and easy. It's not like the rest of the DAV college.

Dislikes

Infrastructure of the college is not good. Its only basic infrastructure.
Most of the time the collges is filled with hundreds of students, making it little uneasy to move around and move in and out.

Internships Opportunities:

We went on teaching internship. Schools were allotted to us by college. It was a very good experience. This internship was unpaid and part of b. Ed curriculum. In first semester the internship was for 10 days. In second semester it was of three months. During the internship We were given many assignments and reports to make. And we made our syllabus plan, on our own, for teaching children.

Secured an Internship at District Court, Dehradun Was paid 6000 per month as a stipend However, I was working at City One Initiative as Organisation And Public Outreach Handled 3 Model United Nation Conferences Got more than 7 Universities and colleges on board with a year-long subscription to our workshops.

Brief of the College

Placement Experience:

From the previous year placements are given to the students who are working hard for the job. Companies are visiting in the college and selecting the students as per their requirement.It gives very good oppurtunity to the students.
