BSSS is Bhopal's best UG College!!

Likes

BSSS is an autonomous college and has a very good dress code.
Along with studies we have a lot of extracurricular things happening at campus.
Our course is fantastic as it is not like any other coure but a course which is a die for course.

Dislikes

Campus is little small as most autonomous colleges have acres and acres of campus.

Admission:

Initial plan was to do engineering so I gave all the entrances and then also tried at many private universities like the LNCT, Sagar Group, Jagran Lakecity University and others. However then because I made up my mind that I will pursue BCA, i took admission at BSSS where more than 80% score was enough to get admission in BCA.

My Honest experience at BSSS - B.Com Honours

Likes

Faculty and Teaching members were knowledgeable, approachable and supportive.
Curriculum are well structured and industry relevant.
Infrastructure and atmosphere is excellent

Dislikes

Rigid Attendance Policy which is inconvenient.
Placement support is very limited in campus.

Admission:

I choose this college for great reputation, NAAC 'A' Grade, balanced environment, add-on courses and location wise in the center of the city bhopal. I didn't select any other colleges as in my mind I was very clear that I want to join BSSS only as my sister also graduated from the same. The admission process was good. Eligibility and cut off for B.com Honours was more than 70% in 12th. And admission was on merit basis so no separate entrance exam. So you just have to fill the form online for BSSS and also a anti ragging form with the same. Then if you are short listed you are called for interview. First with the faculty members and then with the principal. Once selected pay your first installment fees and college uniform fee, then you are done to go.

My experience of Bsss

Likes

The ambience and the atmosphere was peaceful. Got many opportunities to showcase my inner talents,it helped me in my overall development and personality enhancement.
The professors were kind ,supportive and helpful.
The office staff and other managing staff was also helpful in some terms.

Dislikes

The security guards no offense they are doing their duties but sometimes they become rude.

Admission:

I always wanted to be a part of this college..my first preference was BSSS only..yes I've applied in other colleges as well..but Bsss was my first choice..I was selected in IEHE as well but still I wanted to be a part of Bsss only. As I come from a missionary school background I felt comfortable in going to the similar atmosphere also I got multiple opportunities which helped my overall personality development..it helped me take out my inner talents which were somewhere lost ..it had multiple cultural programmes alongside learning which helped me grow.. I didn't face any rejection from any other college..it's just that my preference was all clear ..The admission process was that u have to apply on the bsss site online then you will get a notification from the collage for the counselling then if you get selected you are supposed to pay the registration fees .. after that the selected candidates list is out and if you are in that well and good and if not you are absolutely given another chance..

A Student’s View of BSSS College

Likes

The campus of bsss which wider than other college
Where my college organisation the variety activities or event in a week
My college staff or teacher are very support us

Dislikes

Classroom are not facilities of AC where normal fan put
The college are over discipline for student. College some freedom but college discipline and strict
Over decentralization means staff and guard uncle have much power over than teacher.

Admission:

I applied to IEHE and Career College but chose BSSS for its better reputation and placement. I got rejected by some private universities due to low entrance scores. Admission here is simple—based on 12th marks, no tough exams. The process was smooth and cutoff around 75%.

I have applied to guru ghasidas university Bilaspur and I got a confirmation from them as well. Iha e choose this college over others because I like the environment here and the opportunities that are provided to students here . No I have not been rejected,the reason is I want to be in this college and not in the others. I have to pass some tests.you should pass out your school with good percentage.

I like the environment and infrastructure of my college very much
The staff and teachers are also very helpful and provide good assistance to all the students
My college also provides variety of placement options to almost all the students every year

Dislikes

My institute is far away from my home i wish it could be near somewhere in the main city

I also applied for iper college because in my city i have heard iper college is also very good in providing education and placements but i chose BSSS over iper because iper college is very far away from my home and it is very difficult to get to the college in time

Detail review about The Bhopal School Of Social Sciences

Likes

The infrastructure of the college is very attractive and modern along with its facilities, like swimming pool, football or cricket are ground are good. The college has very attractive environment that excites me.
The teacher here are of very helping nature whether in studies or group projects or in any other tasks, they help students to perform efficiently. The teacher here are also well knowledgeable with years of experience.
The class size is also not too large it is around 70, which is fine for me, the classrooms are also well equipped with smart boards for smart teaching. The college also host various events for students to enjoy along side with their studies.

Dislikes

The things that I personally don't like about this college is that the strict dress code for students like if a student wants to return a book to library or to meet any teacher, he has to wear a proper uniform along with their ID card.
The placements here are also not of good qualities or say the quantity of campus placements, there are also limited or very few clubs or cultural programs for students.
The curriculum here is very rigid so or it is very demanding without much practical exposure, the college has also very strict attendance policy which can feel very constraining for students who are also preparing for other post graduate examination.

Admission:

I applied to SAM global university that is also in Bhopal, the campus there compared to The Bhopal School Of Social Sciences is not as good as it is here the enivironment the architecture are too good in BSSS, also the other extra curricular activities, like sports ground or swimmingpool are also very well managed here in BSSS, the main reason I did not join that college was that it was too far from where I live. The admission process was simple there at SAM.

The reality of my college life

Faculty is very supporting at my college.
The canteen is very affordable at my college

Choosing a college is very difficult for me but a bery significant decision of my life . I choose The bhopal school of social sciences as my college because my relatives had suggested me this college. And personally my friends were also going to this college thats why i chose this college
