The college professors keep on pushing and helping the students by informing them about various competitions and opportunities available. Idk about placements as I'm in second year but they keep sending mails and have alot of tie up companies.

Same as internship the college does provide Job and placement but they welcome Arts firms pamphlets on Notice bulletin board of the college. The college advertises for the companies in campus so that students and call or mail there resume to respective address.

Well there are some companies which come for placement but only a few of the students get selected for the job .As there interview is tough .For eg .If 150 students have given interview out of that 110 students from them would be selected for job. Many companies come at college for placement . Packages are from 3 lakhs.

Many companies visit the college for the campus placements and the package at my time ranged between 2.5 LPA-8.2 LPA. As a fresher the package is good. As its usually the first job so package does not matter,what matters is the company you are working with. At my time many companies visited the campus for placements.
