International Institute of Hotel Management - [IIHM], Pune Courses & Fees 2024-2025

The International Institute of Hotel Management Pune, also known as the IIHM Pune, was established in 1994. The Economic Times named the institute as one of the Best Education Brands of 2020 in the Hospitality Segment. IIHM Pune provides two undergraduate degrees in various specialisations, a diploma, a certificate, and one advanced diploma program.

The fee for the 3-year BSc and BA courses is INR 5.96 Lakhs. For the 12-month diploma courses, the fees is INR 1.20 Lakhs and for the 9-month certification, the fees is INR 75,000.

Iihm pune! A fun 3 years

Likes

Very experienced professors, teaching is very good
Facilities are top notch, good labs and equipment

Dislikes

2 different campuses, walking is often a hassle in rains
Parking is very minimal, have to park far away

Course Curriculum Overview:

teachers are very good, lots of exams, includes lots of practicals and hands on learning exams every 3 months, and one final exam.. First 2 years common, specialisation selected in the third year, includes a 6 month internship

I am pursuing this coarse because of my love towards hospitality and Indian cuisine . I am willing to become a chef in future . The faculty we have is very experienced and 5-star catagory teaching faculty. We receive hugh support from our faculty in every instance . Students are more friendly and happy towards the faculty they hardly face any chalanges while interacting with faculty Faculty are very well qualified and higly experienced in their field . Teaching methods include Power point presentation , notes , something excel sheets as well . Term exams likely towards December and june . Though a tough exam and exam pattern but you can easily get through it if you sincerely study with full dedication and devotion towards study and faculty also .

Journey of 1year in hotel management college

I choose this course because I want to work in the hotel industry. All the faculties and the mentor of our institute have a great experience in the industry and are also a great teachers to teach us. I love the way connecting with the students and helping students to get more and more practical knowledge of the industry motivates us to work in this industry. All the teachers and faculties are from the best brand or the leading brand in the hotel industry like Taj, Oberoi, JW Marriott, Leela place and many more. We have different patterns of exams it feels like we are giving exams all day but it's only beneficial if you give that. We have different semesters of pattern exams. It's a very occur every 6 months. We have five semesters in the whole of our educational course.

International Institute of Hotel Management Pune Review

The college curriculum is the proper mix of theoretical and practical knowledge but frankly speaking, the college mostly focuses on practical learning. The brand ambassador of our college is one of the popular Chef Ranveer Brar and special classes are held by him to teach us the method of cooking and hospitality. The college faculty is also highly experienced and full of knowledge. The faculty of the college have very good industrial experience. The faculty is the one that keeps us updated with the latest industrial developments.

The course pretty to the point.Basic 4 subjects i.e. Food Production, Food and Beverage Service, Front Office and Accomodation Operations are accompanied with key subjects like Digital Marketing, Human Resource Management, Hotel Laws, Accounts etc. IIHM gives students a broad view towards the course.A lot of different choice of career and vast open vision for Entrepreneurship.

More focus on practicals. Textbook knowledge is also important but in hospitality industry needs more practical knowledge as we work and along with that we learn how to handle situations. Industrial training is the most important part of this curriculum

Things are bit overpriced and overrated, studies goes like bull racing, smashing all of ours heads,if u get to fall in between somewhere.Faculties are good enough,experienced, great manipulators, as you should be one to continue the false agenda what you use to grab newbies to get themself enrolled.
