29 Sep, 2025 Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition Meerut has reopened Admission 2025 for various UG programs (except B.P.E.S., B.Sc. Physical Education & Sports). Candidates can submit hardcopy of the registration form by Sept 26, 2025, and the Merit List will be out on Sept 27, 2025. The admission for shortlisted candidates will be held from Oct 4, 2025 to Oct 6, 2025. Check details here.

IHM Meerut is an autonomous body established in 1987. The institute was ranked number 1 among private hotel management institutes in the country. With a vision to provide International Hospitality standards training and professional competence among its students, IHM offers various undergraduate and diploma courses.

Applications for admissions can be submitted online as well as offline.
Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary Examinations as minimum eligibility requirement for admissions.
For Diploma courses, admissions will be through JEECUP.
They apply for B.Sc programme must have secured a valid rank in NCHMCT-JEE.
For admissions to BHMCT, candidates must have scored qualifying marks in UPSEE.
Admissions will also be made on the basis of academic merit in HSC.

IHM Meerut UG Admissions 2024

The institute offers 4 years Bachelor’s course in Hotel Management & Catering Technology for which admissions will be made through the state-level entrance test - UP State Entrance Exam (UPSEE) is conducted by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University.

Candidates applying for admissions under AKTU must fill the institute in the list of choices during the counselling process. Apart from BHMCT, three major undergraduate courses are available at IHM Meerut which are BSc (Hospitality & Hotel Administration), BBA and BCA.

Admissions will be made on through the counselling conducted by National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology after the entrance exam - Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) by NHMCT. For admission to UG courses, applicants must have passed 10+2 examinations in Arts/ Science/ Commerce with English as one of the compulsory subjects.

IHM Meerut Diploma Admissions 2024

IHM Meerut offers two-year Diploma programme in Hotel Management & Catering Technology. Applicants must have passed class 12th in any stream with English as one of their subjects.

Admissions will be made through JEECUP, conducted by Board of Technical Education, Lucknow. Candidates will also be admitted on the basis of merit in the qualifying exam.

IHM Meerut Scholarship

A scholarship as shown below will be given to student taking admission to IHM Meerut. The scholarship will be given to the students based on the percentage of 10+2 or equivalent examination in the first year. Students are eligible for one type of scholarship only be it from any source during the academic year.
