The campus is so much bigger than any other ihm campus and the faculty is amazing overall the vibe of the college is one of a kind i have enjoyed everything while i was there
Playing facilities are also good every weekend all students including faculty plays cricket and it is such a nice feeling
Hostels are very good to stay and maintenance is also very good

Dislikes

Some facilities can be improved such as parking facilities
Maintain the basket ball court properly and cleaning should be done over there
Moreover maintaining electricity is also an issue which can be solved

Admission:

Application form and everything can be found on the official website which helps you with all of your queries and yes you have to take an entrance exams before applying which gives you an all india rank and then you can apply for my college but. You can also apply directly and yes reservation benefits are also there

Reality of this Institute

Likes

Campus is one of the most beautiful thing about this collage, largest campus Amongst all the IHM's in India.
Faculty Members are amazing, they are very kind and helpful.
Hostels, they can easily accomodate around 200 Students.

Dislikes

Classes are very small and is very old fashioned.
Non AC classes as looking towards the temperature of Gurdaspur , classes must have AC.

Admission:

High School Pass out can apply for this course. There is a exam called NCHMCT Jee and the application fees is somewhat around 1-2k. People's with reservation gets the benefits in application fees. Exam is conducted in between July and august every year for the allotment in 21 IHM's across India.

Likes

Code of conduct is too good of the college
Behaviour and skills of all the faculty staff
The way of teaching is obviously too good

The location is not good the location is far from city
The transport facility is nog good in their

Eligibility of the hotel management course is to be 12 th paas with 50% marks in any stream and the direct admission takes place another process is to be entrance exam should be held if direct admission doesn't takes place

The staff and teachers behaviour of the IHM Gurdaspur is very helpful
You can enjoy a lot of extra co curriculum activities
A lot of space in the college with a huge campus area

Dislikes

Canteen needs to be bit rebuild for the students
Local market is a bit far away from the campus
A lot of traffic because of the highway in front of college

Admission:

You must be pass 10+2 with English. You can get the exam form online on nchmct. Then you need to clear the exam and you get your rankings. By the ranking you can choose the exam of your choice you can select whichever you like

A Proper Professional college

Admission:

You have to give an NCHMCT exam which is PAN India Entrance Exam for Hotel Management. Eligibility for the Exam is 12th pass with mandatory English as a subject with more than 60%. You can find the application form in November from the 15th of November fee is a minimum of 800 for general and 400 for SC/ST Candidates. EWS, SC, and ST have good benefits regards to fees as well as Cutoff.

I joined this Course because I love cooking. IHM, Gurdaspur is one the top Central Government College of India in this field. It stood 3rd position in the Cleanliness. The entrance exam helds every year in the month of April. Then in the last of May, results will declare and the we have to go through 3 councelling rounds to choose the college according to our AIR.

Remarks:

It comes under Centre Govt College. In my college we have separate hostel buildings for every year due to which u can get Hostel easily every year n there is no scope of being bullied by seniors. Placements at that time were high.

My experience with IHM Punjab

Admission:

Our college issues application form which needs to be duly filled by the aspirants. The minimum eligibility criteria required to apply for any diploma course is to secure a pass marks in the 10+2 examination with English as one of the subjects. Admission is done on the basis of candidate's performance in the +2 exam.
