Truth about IHM FARIDABAD

Likes

The teaching procedure is good as it divided into two parts practical and theoretical which makes the course interesting
Some of the faculty is good&knowledgeable
Proper equipments are provided by the college for the practicals

Dislikes

Some of the faculty is biased and they are not very understanding
Teaching procedure is somehow like still we are studying in school
There is not even a single rule or regulation which can be said as we are studying in college

Internships Opportunities:

Their is a great opportunity of getting internship from the college as interviews are also held for the internship of the students Make big companies like ITC RADISSON TAJ HOTELS OBEROI LEELA HOTEL JW Marriot Also come for the recruitment of the new interns

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester, students became eligible for the job. At the end they need to submit their degree. Many companies like taj, oberoi, cafe coffee day, kfc, bikanerwala, lemon tree, etc come for placement & offer their management trainee program.

Basically, my IT is not Started they can be started on 2nd August. So my IT in Radisson Blu Plaza Delhi, Airport. My interview in this hotel on 6 July and I am selected for IT in Radisson Blu Plaza Delhi, Airport.

The placement opportunities offered by the institute were nice. However, i never appeared for the placements. But the packages at which my friends were placed were quite impressive. The usual placement package was 13,000 to 25,000 pm.

GOOD COLLEGE IN FARIDABAD

Placement Experience:

Yes, the college offers a 17-week internship, which is about 4 months. The stipend is about 1000-3000. The hotel industry has a lot to offer when it comes to employment, but I haven't seen big brands like Taj and Oberoi come in and hire our students, and there is no college yet. 1 in Haryana for hotel management.

Placement Experience:

I am a current student so didn't get chance to explore about placement but I did internships in different hotels and also get paid INR 5000/month. Although my seniors got placements in many reputed hotels some of them I know are Galaxy hotel, Oberoi Maiden, Hotel Lemon Tree etc. Average package offered to them was INR 5 lakh/annum.

Professional placement, good placement and industrial exposure

Placement Experience:

Our college has a good placement record. All the students who perform well do get a good job with a good salary package. Taj, Oberois, Palms, ITC, Hyatt, are some of the name I remember that came to campus for placements during my year. The faculty assists students by conducting mock interviews, GD workshops; this helps us to perform well in our interview. The salary package depends upon our performance. My course has a 24 weeks internship; I was offered internship at Taj which was a very good experience.
