A review of HIDS

Likes

The campus is very huge and also their is separate sports facilities
Hostel are within in campus which provide ease to access the lectures
The teaching staff is also helpful always pay their 100% in teaching

Dislikes

No such issues I face as it has been 2 years to me live here

Admission:

Admission to this college is through neet exam for this you should have min 250 to 300 for this college counseling is through amru site or all india counseling and also there is reservation criteria and their is no complicated

the truth behind the college

Likes

supporting teachers, the teachers are very supporting
sports friendly campus, the campus is very familiar with sports
indoor games are also given chance and importance in our campus

Dislikes

holiday programs :- the holiday program is very conservative
internal exams :- there is very strictness towards exams
absenteeism is charged with fine. there is fine per class charged for remaining absent

Admission:

firstly I went through neet exam and then I applied for Himachal pradesh state counselling and choose this college at first in college preference list and then my name came in the list and I submitted documents at college before the last date

Likes

The campus is very homely. Lushious with a lot of flowers.
The staff is dedicated toward makinh children learn the craft of the subject
The sports and annuals organised are fun.

Dislikes

The infrastructure can be improved as the college is old
The area of college is comparitively small
There is only a bus stand in the locality no railway staion or cab faciltity

Admission:

The admission process in the college is very smooth you can talk to the faculty and they are always ready to provide maximum help. the staff members are supportive throughout the admission process. Rahul sir is handling the admission process you can get a scholarship based on your neet marks.

Remarks:

The reason I chose this college: it is one of the best and oldest dental college in Himachal Pradesh,has excellent staff, infrastructure,ground, dental chairs. They teach academic as well as clinical concepts very well.

Awesome college with awesome environment.

Admission:

I was called for counseling in Shimla and the branch I was interested in Himachal institute of dental sciences, Paonta sahib moreover faculty here was the best in the region. The administration was very good even arranged for our food while we were waiting for our turn in counseling the admission procedure was very much easy and even management had no problem with me for a fee in two installments.
