Life at GDC MUMBAI

I liked the location of the college most. It is located in the most prime area of Mumbai.

Internships Opportunities:

The college offers one year internship in the college hospital itself . It is a part of the course . The interns get a stipend around 11000- 20000. It is subjected to increase in coming years. There are no companies which are associated with the college . The college encourages students to take up various research projects .

Govenment Dental College Review - Read it to clear yourself up!

Likes

The amount of people visiting the hospital which is equivalent to the opportunities of working with maximum patients
College is in a reknowned area and fees is comapritively less compared to private college providing same course.
College has a recognition in the outside world and we get a lot of internship opportunities.

Dislikes

Not much campus area. Small campus which does not have sports ground or any other activity area, but we cannot expect so much in South Bombay
Hostel mess is not that much good. The food quality is okay with limited options.
The college fests and extra curricular activities are less but the hostel events are too much fun .

Internships Opportunities:

The college hospital itself provides with one year of compulsory internship. It is a paid internship in which you get 18000/- rs a month and a huge amount of patient practice. With the name of the college one can get a lot of internship opportunities out of the college too.

Placement Experience:

There are many chances of getting placements if you are graduating from this college because of the availability of a hospital attached with the college. Mostly the students of our college get placed in the hospital that the college owns.
