Calcutta National Medical College MBBS Admission 2024

Calcutta National Medical College offers an MBBS degree at the UG level with an intake of 200 students. The minimum eligibility criterion to apply is 10+2 in PCB subjects with 50% marks separately and in aggregate.

The selection of the candidates in this course is based on the score of NEET .

Calcutta National Medical College M.Ch. and DM Admission 2024

Calcutta National Medical College offers Super Specialty courses of DM and M.Ch.under different specializations, for which the candidates must have obtained an M.S. degree in the relevant subject while for D.M., an M.D. degree in relevant subjects from a recognized university, is a must.

I choose this college because this was the best college I was getting with my NEET rank for sure. The college is located in the heart of Kolkata. All modes of transport are available. The college is of good reputation for teaching the students. The hospital is a large tertiary care hospital that handles more than 1000 patients daily. Foods are best in Kolkata here. There is lots of greenary just beside the college. Lots of alumnis that helps in getting into the job. Best college fests are organised here . Lots of operatunity for extra carriculum activities. Thatst the reason for choosing the college.

Admission:

I selected this college based on my marks. The college is located close to my house, transport is quite easy. Ragging does not occur too much here. The teachers are overall very nice. There are many places to roam near college.

I also applied Nilratan sirkar Medical college, PG hospital and R.G. Kar medical college and hospital. Then I got confirmed admission from R.G.Kar and CNMC. However I decided to study in CNMC. Because my relative studies in this college and also it is better than R.G. Kar . The transport is good here in CNMC as it is situated in central Kolkata. The college ground is comparatively more bigger and good in CNMC. I got rejection from PG as I didn't make it in Cut off marks. In admission process at first one have to crack neet exam and getting good marks (nowadays one should get 650 above marks)is make them to get admission in selective medical colleges through counselling. I got admitted in CNMC through 2nd counciling. Admission process is quite long

I have not availed any reservation so here the cutoff marks in 2023 for unreserved was 641 and rank around 9.5 k. Eligibility is age should be above 16 years and subject in class 12th should be physics, chemistry, biology. All the process of admission are done by nta and just the submission of papers are to be done in the students section of college
