Army College of Dental Sciences (ACDS) offers admission to Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) at the UG level and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) at the PG level in the field of Dental Sciences. ACDS offers a total of 40 Seats for BDS and 15 Seats for MDS in six specializations. The institute offers admission to Dependent Children of Serving Army Persons/ Eligible Retired Army Persons, or War Widows/ Widows of Army Persons. Admission to BDS and MDS at the Army College of Dental Sciences is based on the score in NEET UG and NEET MDS, respectively. Army College of Dental Sciences BDS Eligibility Criteria 2024

Admission to BDS at the Army College of Dental Sciences is only open to the dependent children of Army Personnel, Ex-Army Personnel, and War Widows of the Army. The dependants of the following category of army personnel are eligible for admission: 

  • Children of serving Army personnel with at least 10 years of continuous service in the Army.
  • Children of ex-Army personnel granted/awarded regular pension, liberalized family pension, family pension, or disability pension at the time of their superannuation, demise, discharge, release medical board/invalided medical board.
  • Children of ex-Army personnel who have been discharged after 10 years of service.
  • Adopted wards of Army personnel provided they have been adopted at least five years before admission.
  • Stepchildren of Army personnel who were born out of wedlock where at least one parent belonged to the Army.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with at least 50% Marks in PCB in aggregate. Candidates must also have qualified NEET UG with a valid score. 

Age Criteria

The age of the candidate must be at least 17 Years as of December 31 of the Admission Year.

Army College of Dental Sciences MDS Eligibility Criteria 2024

Admission to MDS at ACDS is only open to the dependent children of Army Personnel, Ex-Army Personnel, and War Widows of the Army. Candidates must fall in any one of the categories:

Admission to MDS at the Army College of Dental Sciences is solely based on the score in NEET MDS. Candidates with the set cutoff rank in NEET MDS will be offered admission through the counselling conducted by KNRUHS. 


Army College of Dental Sciences Admission Process

Admission to both BDS and MDS at the Army College of Dental Sciences is strictly entrance-based and is open only to the dependent children of eligible serving Army Personnel, eligible ex-Army Personnel, and Wards of ar widows/widows of the Army. Admission to BDS at ACDS is based on NEET UG while for admission to MDS, the institute accepts the score in NEET MDS. 

Admission to all the seats for BDS and MDS at the Army College of Dental Sciences will be carried out by Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal, only. Candidates need to register for the Telangana NEET Counselling conducted by KNRUHS for the allocation of seats for admission to ACDS. Candidates who are allotted a seat for admission will be issued a Provisional Admission Order.
