SASMIRA offers PGDM/MBA (Dual Specialization) under the School of Management Studies and Research for a duration of two years. The program is offered with the following specializations-

SASMIRA PGDM/MBA Eligibility

Graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate from any University.

SASMIRA PGDM/MBA Selection Criteria

Candidates should submit scores in any one of the seven All India Entrance Tests recommended by the AICTE viz CMAT, recommended by DTE viz MH-CET, CAT, MAT, and ATMA or XAT.

Candidates must submit the following documents at the time of admission-

• Statement of Marks - S. S. C./H. S. C./Graduation
• Degree/Passing Certificate
• Entrance Test Score Card
• College Leaving Certificate/TC
• Migration Certificate (In case candidate qualifying Examination other than Mumbai University)
• Eligibility Certificate (In case candidate qualifying Examination other than Mumbai University)
• GAP Affidavit if applicable
• Domicile Certificate (if applicable) or Nationality Certificate
• Aadhaar Card Photocopy

The institute offers the following PG courses under the discipline of management for a duration of two months-

SASMIRA PG Eligibility

• Passed with minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate.
• Candidates must have a valid MMS-CET scorecard.

SASMIRA PG Selection Criteria

MMS

Admission to the MMS course will be done on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the online computer test followed by a Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

MMM

Admission to the MMM program will be done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.

In selecting the candidate for admission, weightage will be given to-

• The academic record of the candidate
• The level and nature of practical experience 
• Personal Interview

Applicants are required to submit one attested copy of the following documents at the time of submitting the application form:

• Marksheet of Bachelors Degree Examination
• Any other University Degree / Professional Diploma if any
• Work Experience Certificate
• Statement of Eligibility (if applicable)

At the Undergraduate level, SASMIRA offers B.Com, BMS and B.Sc program under two disciplines- Information and Technology and Fashion Designing. All these UG courses are of three-year duration.

Note- Candidates applying for B.Com, B.Sc. (IT) and BMS should have passed 10+2 with Mathematics and Statistics as one of the subjects with at least 45% marks. For B.Sc. (FD), candidates need to pass at HSC from a recognized board.

For the purpose of selection, in the merit list for admission to BMS course, 45% weight age is given to Commerce students, 25% students to Arts students, 25% of science students and rest 5% weight age is given to candidates having a diploma in engineering and other courses.

The college also offers a Ph.D. in Management for which candidates need to pass a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in the field of management or an M.Phil. Degree.

SASMIRA Ph.D. Eligibility 

• A candidate seeking registration for the Ph.D. must possess a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in the appropriate field of Management from University recognized by UGC or its equivalent.
• M. Phil. degree of a University, with the first division for exemption from pre- Ph.D. course.

SASMIRA Ph.D. Selection Criteria

Admission to Ph.D. is done on the basis of Ph.D. Entrance Test followed by Personal Interview.

Candidates who have qualified in GATE/NET/ SLET/ UGC/ CSIR (JRF) examination will be exempted from the university entrance test; however, they will have to appear for personal interview only.

Samira’s Institute of Man-Made Textiles (SIMMT) offers three-year full-time diploma courses in Man-Made Textile Technology, Man-Made Textile Chemistry, and Knitting Technology.

Additionally, Sasmira’s Education and Training Program (SETP) offers Diploma, Advanced Diploma and Postgraduate Diploma courses in Textile Designing, Fashion Designing, and Apparel Merchandising.

SASMIRA Diploma Selection Criteria

For admission to Diploma in Fashion/Textile Designing, the candidates must appear for the written exam followed by an interview.

For admission to Diploma in Man-made Textile Technology/Chemistry, candidates will be selected on the basis of the qualifying exam.

Note- Fashion and Textile Designing are also offered in part-time mode.

Candidate can apply for admission through both online and offline mode. However, the candidate also needs to register at DTE, Maharashtra website for counseling.

• For offline mode, the candidate can visit the prospectus cum application form.
• Fill all the details in the application form and attach Xerox copies of the documents listed below.
• The candidate needs to show original documents once at the time of admission.
• Application Fees: INR. 250/- (DD) and INR. 200/- (in person)
