Life At NIFT Bhopal

There are so many events going on all around the gear which makes the life at nift a little less hectic and enjoyable. There are dance clubs, music clubs and other clubs too. The seniors here are so helpful and they're ready to help you anytime you w
The faculty, the best part of nift is it's faculty, the teachers are super experienced and can give you so much insights about anything you ask them.
The campus is beautiful has a lot of greenery and it's so much fun. We have a subject called lecture series in which karigars comes to our classes and teach us about their crafts, not just karigars but also lawyers, entrepreneurs

Dislikes

The mess food, it's soooo bad I don't even eat many times
The life here is so hectic, most of the times you're sleep deprived
I've heard that jury members sometimes tore the assignments of students during jury

Admission:

is one of the best colleges to study fashion design and communication as well as apparal technology. It is controlled by ministry of textiles India and is the best choice to get into if you want to pursue fashion designing. The admission process is simple. You have to crack their entrance exam which is called NIFT ENTRANCE EXAM and once results are out you have to sit for counselling. This year 2024 there were 4 counselling rounds and one spot round. Once you get your desired campus and course you physically visit the campus and get your documents verified and that's it you're a NIFTIAN.

I got admission when I completed my bachelor in design from Noida. my aunt stays here in Bhopal and she suggested me to pursue my PG course from this college. A candidate who has completed Diploma or bachelors of minimum three years will be eligible to apply for the course.

FASHION DESIGNING REVIEW

Admission:

There are two tests one write test. If you clear the first round, you called for the situation test. The written test consists of two parts: (CAT) Creativity Ability Test and (GAT) General Ability Test. In CAT, you will need to show your drawing skills and in GAT, you will need some math-related questions, English based comprehension type and some general knowledge questions and 100 marks in this paper.

If you clear the test for GAT and CAT, you will be called for the situation test, in which you will go to various NIFT colleges and create a 3D model within a few hours of testing. If you clear this test and you receive merit rank and call for counseling, you can take the campus as per your choice and availability of seats.

My NIFT Journey

Admission:

The admission process in the college was not simple. As the students had to qualifying the entrance exam organised by the NIFT. The entrance exam was divided into 2 rounds. First round consisted of the simple MCQ's test and then a drawing test was held for the students. Second round was for those students who had qualify the first round. The second round was of project model. The minimum criteria was 50% in 12th board.
