There is majority of girls in the college for it being a design college. Parties do take place in the hostel. The college keeps conducting workshops and events for students to come together and share their knowledge and experiences.

Girls are generally high in number 7:3 in terms of ratio students are allowed to have non alcoholic parties multi cultural and ethnicity, no racial abuse, friendly environment, no restrictions on kind of clothes that girls want to wear, chilled environment debates and group discussions are a part of curriculum.

No bias basis gender sexual orientation etc labs are good lots of extracurricular activities to keep one entertained students from all over the country and quite a lot of non Indians are also a part of the NIFT Family.
