NIRRH Mumbai Ph.D. Eligibility

You must clear your M.Sc. in biological science, Pharm., M.V.Sc or MBBS course with not less than 60% for general category and not less than 55% for SC/ ST category.
You must qualify for the Ph.D. entrance exam which is conducted by the University of Mumbai or qualifies the GATE examination.
Fellowship holders of the apex bodies such as CSIR/UGC/ICAR/ICMR/DBT are eligible.
You must be at least 28 years old.
No age limit for SC/ST/OBC/Physically handicapped persons and women candidates.

NIRRH Mumbai Ph.D. Selection Criteria

You must qualify for the Ph.D. entrance exam which is conducted by the University of Mumbai.
GATE qualified can directly apply without giving any entrance exam for the Ph.D. course.
If you get selected, you can check your name in the shortlisted candidate's list
Your name will be there with the date and time of the interview on the websites of ICMR or NIRRH.
Your final selection will be based on the performance of your interview round.

Application Process

You must fill the form which is available at NIRRH website. Alternatively, you can get the form at the college admin office.
After filling the form, download the filled form and print it. Submit the printed form with the non-refundable Demand Draft (D.D.) of INR 300 (free for SC, ST, and physically handicapped candidates, they can submit their supporting documents) drawn in favor of “The Director, NIRRH” to In-charge, Post Graduate Studies, ICMR-National Institute for Research in Reproductive Health, Jehangir Merwanji Street, Parel, Mumbai 400 012.

You have to write NIRRH Ph.D. ‘YEAR’ on top of the envelope. Incomplete submission and late submission will lead to disqualification.
