Likes

There where various fest held like ethics festival, onam festival, christmas etc.. beautiful library really make use of it the best liberary all books are available.
Teachers were really good and friendly and they were easy to approach
College offers scholarships for needy people through the trust providing free hostel facilities, reducing tuition fees also a free mid-day meal scheme for day scholar students.

Dislikes

Sometimes the staffs are so disturbed for little things
Some staffs are overly making scene in class and make us mad.
Some students are not availed for scholarship this i disliked.

Inside Bishop Heber College, Trichy: A Complete Student Life & Campus Experience Review

appreciated the disciplined atmosphere, supportive faculty, and values-driven culture at Bishop Heber College. The environment was academically focused and peaceful. However, I felt the college could improve by providing more hands-on training,
Campus life was engaging and welcoming. I had the chance to build good friendships and participate in student events.
The faculty were knowledgeable and taught with clarity and dedication. Their explanations of complex actuarial concepts were effective.

Dislikes

There’s a lack of internships, industrial visits, and interaction with actuarial professionals which are essential for practical learning.
Most class are lecture based and less digital used
Placement is not very strong for students of bsc Actuarial mathematical science.

I chose B.Sc. Actuarial Science because the curriculum covers key subjects like Probability, Financial Mathematics, Statistics, and Economics, which align directly with actuarial exam syllabi from IAI and IFoA. The structured approach to building mathematical and analytical foundations was a major reason for selecting this course

no Culturals, no Entertainment, no IV, no department functions

Placements are the only Positive experience in the college, the students who are placed the main component of the college, placement are the main one to students, the college gets many international companies for The campus interviews

I like this greenery environment and the place for girls in cafeteria is comfortable
The faculties are well teaching and the infrastructure of the class is also good
They are giving more lab facilities and it is very easy to learn and good

Dislikes

I thought that the canteen must be big in size
They are selling the canteen snacks in bit high prize
Should do culturals in our college since there is no enjoyment

This course related genetics and databases in research centres, it contains biology and computer science which influenced me to take this course, I thought that the question paper must be easy, the teachers are good

Beauty Bishop

Ambience is very nice, the college looks really beautiful
The facilities are very amazing, lot of R.O plants, hygiene canteen

Dislikes

Staffs are not that knowledgeable, they should be evaluated properly before hiring
And it's very strict when it comes to boys and girls talking, some department are not co-ed

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester we are eligible for campus placement Accenture Renault Nissan TCS ION Reliance Trends, Max TCS life insurance companies The highest is 7 LPA in TCS but only one to 10 will be selected for it. The average package is 3.5 LPA in Accenture. The lowest is 3 LPA in renault with 3 years package. Average of 500 will be placed in their relevant company. My plan is to get a job in a high paying IT company.

About Bishop's campus

Likes

The education here in this college is comparatively very good
Student encouragement is pretty good here
Departmental coordinity is quite united here

Dislikes

This college is very strict compared to other colleges
Functions and culturals are comparatively less
Departmental partiality is there honestly ( but for sure depends on the staff)

Pretty different and apt to the particular domain It manages it side by side for the real world applications Teaching methods may change but the course curriculum I personally don't find any promlems in it It has breaks in between but manageable

Bishop heber college

Likes

College is looks beautiful. It was called also beauty bishop.
Staff are very intelligent. They are gives first preference for decipline.
Then sports are good. They give more opportunities for poor people.

Dislikes

My thought watchman was rude . If we want to go out they asking many of the questions.
Canteen was good but things are very expensive from my thought.
Then we don't have cultural. That only bad one.

Placement Experience:

Companies like TCS,wibro, Infosys,Zoho etc. highest packages of year will be 6lpa and average will be 2.5 lpa 70 persentage of student get a job in good companies like this. It is great thinks for next generation.

Likes

The well furnished infrastructure around the college
The pleasant greenery garden that is being well maintained

Dislikes

Some local boys who were against the college rules and creating mess
Some unhygenic canteen and cafeteria facilities

Placement Experience:

The students will be available with placement offers since the starting of the 5th semester. The companies start visiting the college for all the final year students. As i was seraching for higher studies i did not come to know about the packages

Ambience of the college was very beautiful, the greenery was peaceful

Dislikes

Parking for students was in the ground in sun which was not very appreciative

There are placement offers being given for students throughout the last year of course. There are some good opportunities and decent opportunities too, but mostly people dont try placements in this course. There are placements coming for around 6LPA mad avg of 4LPA

Ambience of the campus too good with greener and more trees

Placement Experience:

each semester students become a minimum of 60% are eligible for campus interviews without any arrears. packages of the company is a minimum of 2LPA to a maximum of 4LPA. minimum 60 % of students getting placements. After getting the degree I join the job.

My life with bishop Heber college

Overall very well equipped college, good infrastructure, well equipped library, good job offers

Dislikes

Many companies are coming for recruitments. but we don't get proper guidance

Interested in mathematics. For every 45 students 1 faculty there Very well qualified faculty with good knowledge The exams are shift basis.. it depends on students ratio. If we well prepared for exams surely we can get more marks
