Likes

I like this greenery environment and the place for girls in cafeteria is comfortable
The faculties are well teaching and the infrastructure of the class is also good
They are giving more lab facilities and it is very easy to learn and good

Dislikes

I thought that the canteen must be big in size
They are selling the canteen snacks in bit high prize
Should do culturals in our college since there is no enjoyment

Course Curriculum Overview

This course related genetics and databases in research centres, it contains biology and computer science which influenced me to take this course, I thought that the question paper must be easy, the teachers are good

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 18000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 18000 for the 1st sem but they have increased to 23630. It's a sudden increase in fees structure for 2nd sem. They are giving circular for sc candidates. Hostel fees is too high and it's not worth the money

Campus Life

There are no culturals, but they conduct some department speechs by lecturers by other universities. The library is very good. Sports and extra activities are done well. Clubs are too good and involving

Hostel Facilities

There are 4 double bed cots in a small room, it is very conjusted and the hostel is very old with leaking water, the food is not very bad, but sometimes it's not that good, hostel price is not that worth able

Hostel Fee: INR 55000 per year

Admission

I applied to sathyabama, annamalai university but I went to bishop heber college as some said that this college is very good for bioinformatics course. I didn't make it to Chennai because the distance and fees are too high. The admission process is based on merit, in 12th you should take 50% marks

Faculty

The students are very good and expressive, I like my Tamil teacher, and rajadurai sir who teaches very well, well there are 3 core papers and it's in mediate level, feels like little tough but if you understand it it would be so easy

Night Life

I really like to spend time in canteen, cafeteria, library and garden, these are very nice places, hostel Life is a jail, outing is prohibited for 1st year girls, they don't even allow to order foods and cakes, there are many shops outside the college. At night it is safe to roam

Good Learning Environment But need more Facilities

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose bsc computer science because I'm interested in IT jobs and want become a developer. The syllabus is useful for real world learning and it covers important basics. i found subjects like c programming very helpful for understanding core concepts. the curriculum is decent but it needs more practical sessions and better lab facilities. the software and systems in the lab should also be updated. we follow a semester system, and the exams test both theory and practical knowledge. overall the course is good, but more hands on training would make it even better.

Never go behind the hype giving by agencies

The outer syllubus of curiculam is good , but th ecore is very few, and the real time parctical knowledge is very week as compareed with the hype t.
