There are placement in the college
The college conducts interview of the students and various biotech companies visit the college to conduct interviews in the college to select the students that are good at marketing , knowledge and work are selected by the companies
Agroone , Byers seed , etc companies visit college
Approximately 3lakh package is given
The students are selected in basis of interview not on persentage
From 8th semester we are eligible for the placements but in our clg less companies show interest for the students
Buyers, upl are the agro based company which hire us
8 lpa is the highest.
I am planning to add mission in pg after the degree
After completion of last semester that is 8th semester . Various banks seed companies fertilizers manufacturing companies visit for placing agriculture graduates . The average package is 3-5 lakh per annum.
In the 8th semester students become eligible for campus placements.
The companies like hdfc and Ankur etc companies visit the college around 10-15 offers are done.
The highest package I around 600000 and the average package is about 300000.
The percentage of students getting placement is 60 because mostly goes for civil services.
My plans after the degree is to be an entrepreneur.
As most of the Student goes for academics further. Small amount of students give interview for placements.last year Syngenta company visited to our campus for placement. And about 10-15 students placed. More campus can come to our college but many students don't to place in companies. Teachers also follows different steps to prepare students for the placement, but very less students actually want to place. Teachers told us if more amount of students are ready for placing in companies they can made available more companies for placement.
There are some internship opportunities present in the college which they call skill development programme in which you learn to produce various products related to agriculture industry like jams and jelly, dairy products, mushrooms, nursery management etc.
Yes there is plenty of jobs after graduation. Many companies visit through placement camps to offer students jobs. Many students get job at desired places through it.
The placement process is not that good in our college. Packages that were offered to my seniors, started from 20k/month. I wanted to do a PhD that’s why the poor placement process never bothered me. Most seed companies and fertilizer companies would come for the placement process on our campus.
Opportunities for campus placements are limited in our college. Some small local companies from sectors like seeds, fertilizers visit the campus. The average package offered is good. They provide internships for students. Though the overall placement process can be improved.
