Indian Institute of Gems & Jewellery (IIGJ), Mumbai was established in the year 2003. It was initiated as a project by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) and is operating under the Ministry of Commerce & Industries. The institute is affiliated to Savitribai Phule University and Mewar University.
