The teachers are good in there communicaton skills and they are good to explain the topic effectively so that the student would grasps it.
There are many types of rooms available in the hostel and the mess food is also good and the timing is very well.
There are many clubs active in our college which help adding values to your portfolio

Dislikes

The hostel is not good it has major accommodation problems many students are sleeping on the floor now it's been 2 months since the start of the semester.
It is very difficult to get hostel in first year as their are less room available
The room has only basic facilities fan lights almirah the meal is decent quality registration process is very easy and hostel is very affordable but the hostel toilet are dirty their is very low cleanliness in hostel

College is okay okay

Likes

Campus and infrastructure is too good. K
Central Library is also best thing of this library
There is KRC(knowledge resources centre) room which also good.

Dislikes

Faculty are not highly qualified. Need to be improved
College timing is also not good. Need to short
College academic schedule is alo delayed.

Placement Experience:

Almost from the 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, and many more companies visited this college. And approx 200 offers made companies from this college. Approx 51% of students are placed in this college.

Likes

Knowledge and resource center in which free wifi with latest pc are available for student to study
Huge library nside our campus in which every kind of book are available for studenta
A big sports complex is provided to students for sports they are intersted in.

Dislikes

75 percent attendance policy which stops students to work in their passion
Poor administration which makes college back indespite of having a huge campus

Placement Experience:

our college supports both placements as well as startups. we have the highest placement at 44lpa. our average package is 3 lpa But all over placement is a game of skills irrespective of college whether you are in iit or not if you have no skills then you cant get placed.

SOIT : A GOOD COLLEGE FOR AN AVERAGE STUDENT.

Likes

WE can access almost every facilities available for UIT RGPV.
The campus has a very good knowledge research centre available.

Dislikes

Classroom are not well maintained and clean.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this college because my rank in JEE is not as good as it takes admission to a top state govt college CSE or IT branch. for every 40 students, there is one professor available. All the faculty are PhD holders. The exam levels are easy to moderate.

SOIT : An Average College

Likes

We can access the full facilities of UIT RGPV
The Library is so much nice thing of this college.
The campus is so much nature friendly and 250 acres of campus area.

Dislikes

Not so good infrastructure, not well managed classrooms
Washrooms and water purifiers are not cleaned.
Their is not such as good package of placements

I chose this course because this course is affordable for me and the college is located near my home, about faculty-student ratio there is 1 professor for 1 batch of 40 students. All the Facilities are Ph.D. holders. The exam level is easy to moderate.

School nahi college hai

Likes

Campus and college pahadi alot of trees are there
Knowledge resource centre is amazing is give a lot of things
Seniors and club's of college are amazing

Dislikes

It has HUGE campus of 245 acrs soo it feel tired to go to class
Bhai service is compulsory for 1st year student
No sports clubs in college and not focused on sports

Placement Experience:

Form 3rd year student Becomes eligible for campus placement Most of students get placed according to there skill set. Plan to get a job after completing my degree. Tcs . Wipro and many more companies visit

Review of School of information technology

Likes

Teaching of faculties is very good they provide us different information and to apply it useit
Library because we can get everything for studies and tnp also gives a lab for doing anything on desktop and for paperwork without any charges
Sports every student have different interests and some are taking admission on sports quota and also different feat and events of sports.

Dislikes

Information is not sufficient for students that is provided by faculty during teaching
There is no help for students for organising any event
There is no canteen after april for day scholar students

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements. There are different companies like tcs, cisco, Infosys, HCl technology, Capgemini and Wipro etc and have hired more students average of 40 There is a 70-75% of students that are getting placement more than 4-5 lakhs. My plans are the qualify for the GATE exam after the degree or pursue a job from placements

Don't Expect College Life from RGPV.

Likes

Their is so much free time in this college, we have to go only 5 days in a week.
saturday and sunday are off so we have to go only 5 days in a week.
another thing i likes that is we can access all facilities of UIT.

Dislikes

their is no college life, no infrastructure, no placements, no companies..
no water in water coolers, no decipline,
in first year, MTech faculties tech us, so it is not a good thing

I chose this college because my JEE score was very low & about college's faculty, and faculties are good but there is no infrastructure and college life in this school of information technology RGPV. some senior faculty are Ph.D. holders and some are pursuing MTech Degrees.

Likes

Sports and computer labs I liked the most in college
Infrastructure and senitation are best that I liked in college
Library and elibrary are well mentioned in college

Dislikes

The travelling in college to hostel is at very distant places
There is very dogs in the campus there behaviour is not good
The buses doesn’t have well mentioned the diesel of the get off

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester campus placement starts. The average package is 340000. As gathering the information from the seniors, if you have the knowledge and the seniors told about the mass recruiting companies and well known about the few off-campus placements and good friends in the company

The Reality of School of Information Technology RGPV

Likes

We don't have any issues of the attendance
Our hostel infrastructure is ver good and comfortable
The central library is very good for resting and sleeping

Dislikes

Lack of faculties in our college SOIT RGPV
No books are allotted to us for our endsem preparation
No events or fests took place or conducted in our college because the director does not provide permission for any event

Course Curriculum Overview:

From the beginning of my school life, I have had an interest in computers but after taking JEE my score was not good so I chose the CSBS course. In our college, there is a lack of faculty. There are very less teachers in my college to teach to the students. The qualification of the faculty is from masters to Ph.D. etc.
