Likes

I liked that they don't have attendance criteria pressure.
This college is best for preparing for competitive exam.
They conduct events and social interaction with many differemt success people.

Dislikes

Teachers don't know anything even they know they don't have teaching skills
Campus is good enough but don't have cleanliness.
Hostel mess is not good but it is decent for many people rather than tiffin you ordered from outside campus.

Admission:

I applied to MITS gwalior in CSE but I didnt chose it because of high fees and ROI that is placement avg package is also not good compare to money I'm investing That's why I didn't choose it compare to my college they take fees but ROI is good compare to MITS. Admission is through JEE MAINS Exam and apply for MPDTE counselling which starts generally in september.

The campus is very huge(250acres), and full of greeneries.
The college faculties are always ready to help students anytime anywhere.
The campus environment is very peaceful.

Dislikes

Very low maintenance in the college hostels.
There is no cleanliness in the college campus.
Girls to boys ratio is very low. That is 1:10.

Admission:

I applied for many government colleges like NITs, State Government Colleges, but was unable to make it through them, Because my percentile was not upto the mark. So according to my percentile I got into this college.The Admission process of the college is very simple, you just need some documents to get verified like Bonafide certificate, Migration certificate, 10th, 12th marksheet,etc...The eligibility exam is JEE MAINS.

College is good as fees perspective but not too good for placement.

Likes

College facility are too good and they were regular take classes.
College is very affordable and no one force for urgent fees

Dislikes

Placement cell of our college is very bad.
Placement of our college is not good and our university rgpv is black listed.

Admission:

We can compare mine college with other colleges in the basis of placement other college like LNCT ORIENTAL, TIT, SAGE ,NIT has much better placement then mine college the cutoff of our college in jee is for OBC is 70 for St sc 40 and for general 80.

overall Nice college

Likes

The infrastructure of the college is amazing, it offers a huge green environment.
The campus offers a huge library for the students equiped with all types of books and facilities
The Elab is also there for students learning tecg skills , with 24 x7 wifi

Dislikes

placements are so disappointing only few students got placement last year.
Ai and ML is the first batch of the college hence its the experimental batch.
less hygiene, in the watercooler and toilets

My JEE rank was not too good and i wanted a degree thats why I enrolled in the course. The college has get environment and infrastructure. The admission process is quite easier , if you have a decent jee rank you can easily get this college.

School of IT, why should you opt it instead of private college

Likes

The faculty is very supportive all you need is to ask them.
There is not much of any attendance issue
Campus is great, you get almost all advantage of uit rgpv

Dislikes

Lack of discipline and strictness in college
Most of the crowd doesn't match the vibe

Admission:

Admission in this college is through jee score soo the eligibility is based on college cuttoff rank one can find application form and all related data from mp online website its a government autonomous college it does accept and conduct lateral entry merit list are disclosed in two levels although the admission process was simplified but it was too time taking soo the only improvement i guess is time-consuming

Best government college if rank above 1Lakh-2lakh

Likes

Campus size is quite Big (almost 300 acres). Girls to boys ratio in my branch is almost 50 50.
Infrastructure (buildings, tables, chairs, labs) seems like new and modern.
Staff is supporting and there is no strict attendance criteria

Dislikes

Mostly campus size is covered with unwanted trees. No one cuts other than show off areas.
Management is not good. Not at all. Could be best college if managed.
Canteen has been closed for a year. No tenders has been opened for canteen.

Admission:

I have applied to top government college in M.P. such as SGSITS and DAVV but i knew that i was not going to make in them. but this college is better than any private college out there in terms of fees and placements. I didn't make it to other applied college due to my jee rank obviously. Admission process of this college is that after choice filling and getting into this college you have to come to file some documents written in your mpdte site and confirm your admission by submitting admission and first semester fees. JEE ranks only accepted in this college. Cutoff is almost 3Lakh for Gen and 4-5 lakh to SC/ST.

GOOD COLLEGE BUT THE HARDWORK IS OURS

Likes

Since, SOIT RGPV is located in main university it has a big campus. Accompanied by lush greenery and peaceful environment, we can see peacocks dancing sometimes.
Variety of Groups such as E-Cell RGPV, GDSC RGPV, TNP Cell, Devoic, ASPER, and many more that we can be a part of .
Faculty is Good and supportive. It has no mandatory attendancy policy and students attend classes according to themselves.

Dislikes

There are no such events like musical concerts and no such good sports events like the other colleges. No big faces are invited for seminars and conselling.
The campus placements are not up to the mark and students are offered with low salaries. There is a problem of corruption which minimizes the development of the college.

Admission:

The admission process is much simple and. the students are admitted based on their JEE scores And the cutoff varies according to the students category. We have to apply in the MPDTE website and According to our JEE score. We have to. fill up the form and select colleges for counseling and once the college has been allotted. We need to take the print out of the website and rush to the college under three days after the college has been allotted, we need to take a required documents, which includes 10 class marksheet, 12 class marksheet and migration certificate, transfer certificate of previous school. JEE scorecard and college then check for the documents and once they have verified the documents, the student gets admitted in the college. There are reservation benefits, some seats are reserved for the OBC candidates, SC candidates and ST candidates respectively. The frequency and timing of exams varies according to different branches.

Likes

Infrastructue , Library , faculty , classrooms.
Good platform for students who are willing do pursue graduation from specialization.
As the college is government ,the fees is less and it has many facilities.

Dislikes

The things I disliked is less as the college is good enough.
Not so competitive environment for coding.
Not encouragement in competitive coding.

Admission:

The selection for the provided course is based on the jee merit . The person can apply for the course from mp dte counselling . The reservation is also there the student get admission from reservation also.

Dislikes

Faculty are not serious for study ., they don't completely teach there there syllabus , all the I'm getting is from internet
More than 2 months passed of endsem and still they haven't declared the result till now

Admission:

You can get admission here by giving jee mains examination and also by counseling based on your 12th marks .You can see the previous year cutoff in mpdte site .After registering in mpdte you can participate for counseling

Likes

Knowledge and resources center which provides new generation computer with unlimited wifi access
A huge central Library which consists of every book a student needs in his 4 years journey
Huge lush green Campus area which has many trees and garden's .

Dislikes

Faculty being not that much interactive with students
College placements are not upto the mark. Students have to place on their own
College distance is very far from main city. Hostel facility is not upto mark.

Admission:

My admission process was through Joint Entrance Exam (JEE). The cut off was above 90 ? .For a student to be eligible for this course he/she should be from science background . And he/she should be given JEE mains exam. And then must be appear in the MPDTE counselling
