The faculty at BITS Pilani WILP are experienced and knowledgeable, with advanced degrees and substantial teaching or industry experience. The student-to-faculty ratio is approximately 1 professor per 70-80 students. Each batch consists of roughly 100 students, with classes held on weekends for four subjects per semester, each taught by a dedicated lecturer.
The course is structured around system programming, and no student from the current batch has failed so far. The examination system includes three exams per semester: EC1, EC2, and EC3, along with quizzes and assignments contributing to the overall grade. Professors are generally approachable and encourage student involvement in research and internships, although some students feel a greater emphasis on real-world applications could be beneficial.
Courses are periodically updated to meet industry standards.
