The college has courses like Bachelor of Computer Applications and Bachelor of Science at the Undergraduate level. The medium of instruction and knowledge delivery is English. Under BCA, students are taught topics including Business and Technical Communication, Web Programming, Computer Fundamentals and OS, Office Automation Tools, Environmental Science, RTI, DBMS, Programming using C and C++, and Data Structures. An individual who wants to pursue any UG program from the K.B. Joshi Institute of IT must fulfill the below-mentioned criteria.

B.Sc:

• 10+2 with Modern Indian/Modern Foreign Languages or any classical Language or Information Technology and any 4 Science subjects from a recognized board.
• Students who have not done Mathematics in 12th must take a bridge course in Mathematics and pass a university-conducted test before the Semester I examination.

BCA:

• 10+2 with English/Modern Foreign Languages/classical Language or Information Technology and any 4 subjects carrying 100 marks each with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category students) from a recognized institution.

At the Postgraduate level, the institution offers a Master of Computer Applications and a Master of Science. In the MCA course, students get to learn about the Mathematical Foundation of Computer Science, Advanced Data Structures, Computer Network Programming using Linux, Managerial Economics, Software Architecture, Data Science and Analytics, Soft Computing, IoT, Ethical Hacking, etc. While under the M.Sc program, topics such as Operating Systems, Data Communication and Networking, Web Technology, COA, Object Oriented Programming using Java, and Mobile Application Development using Android Programming.

Below are the criteria individuals must fulfill before enrolling themselves in any of the PG programs of KB Joshi Institute of Information Technology.

MCA:

• 3-year BCA Degree with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized University

M.Sc:

• B.Sc. Degree in subjects like Physics/Maths/Information Technology/Computer Science or BCA or any engineering graduate in an allied subject from a recognized university with 50% aggregate (Open Category) and 45% (Reserved category).
• Mathematics is compulsory at either the 10+2 level or graduation.
