In some of countries both the AME and pilot are the same after completing AME you can go for CPL (COMMERCIAL PILOT LICENCE). The faculties are well over different backgrounds Some from the airforce returned and few had experience working on the aircraft and few with good knowledge. This is 3 years course with 6 semesters and 6 months 1-semester exams are definitely tough for AME the passing mark is 75 and just with this you can conclude how tough it could be but not impossible. Hard work and patience is the most important thing to keep in mind.
