I'm just a student to clarify the doubts those who are thinking to join in our college .

Likes

Our branch HOD is very good and disciplined person
The faculty is good and understanding as per the experience
The college is located in 82 Acres lo land, in which we are getting many playgrounds

Dislikes

The transportation is heavy burden for the students
The hostels are still under construction
There is no placements for students , the management should collaborate with companies to get the placements

In first councelling I applied to private colleges but I changed my decision to join in UCEN JNTUK, Narsaraopet why because my friend said that this college is good so I choose my option for this college in first position when the counselling is happening after knowing about the college I decided to change my college when 3rd counselling happens but it is not there, it is my badluck though I am not fully satisfying for choosing this college but there is some fun with friends

HOD was good because of managing all activities and subject knowledge also too good and also the lab structure was good and even If any other labs not there they try to complete those even by making us to go to another college for practicals.

Overall a good college, but lack in infrastructure

Likes

Quality materials in the lab , so that we can perform our practical in a best way
Good faculty members, as they are all PhD members, so they gain more experience
Sufficient labs and experiments, so that students won't be feel uncomfortable to perform experiments

Dislikes

Infrastructure, no proper infrastructure, which is the main thing
No play ground, play ground is the most important for any college, so that students won't feel stress
No trees at all, during summer it is hell without trees, there must be atleast minimum trees.

Admission:

Based on my rank, I have got placed here, though I tried for other colleges in my second and third councelling process, still I got placed in the same college, so as it is a government University, I stayed here.

Indoor auditorium infrastructure is well established
Lab equipment is good and all tyoe of equipment is available

College is 15 kilometres far away from town
Construction process is very slow and some design structure is not worth
Strict rules and regulations and time taken process for signatures

University college of engineering Narasaraopet is a Government university were certificate has more value then other colleges We can get admission in this college by EAMCET and ECET EAMCET for Intermediate students 4 years of BTech course ECET for Diploma students 3 years of BTech course

I like the fecility of library with very good book collection for every course
college has strict rules against ragging and a helpline was also provided
campus amenities like drinking water,canteen and free wifi in entire campus for students

Dislikes

faculty for non core subjects were not qualified enough
college does not provide any kind of on campus placements
college does not provide enough internship oppertunities and not placement training

Admission:

I applied for this college as I get to knoe that this college has good faculty for my course and moreover its fee was less compared to LPU and other colleges and I did not get rejection from any college I applied for this college only. The admission process for our college is thruogh state entracnce test name EAMCET for engineering and colleges alloted according to the ranks and upto 3 counsellings are conducted for admission.

My BTech life in UCEN JNTUK

Shifted from old campus to new campus in the final year and the infrastructure is so good which makes us to focus on studies.
New lab equipments are installed with latest versions.
Good and friendly staff, always gives support.

Dislikes

Should construct the hostels as early as possible.
There is no constructed playground for cricket.
There is no canteen nearby the college for lunch.

Admission:

You can join the course by getting a good rank in APEAPCET or if you have completed diploma you can join by getting a good rank in ECET exam. Every year government conducts both the exam. You can find the application form in APSCHE website.
