Bidhan Chandra College Rishra UG Eligibility Criteria

For admission in the under-graduate courses, the candidates need to fulfill the basic eligibility criteria.

• Candidates must qualify their 10+2 examination from a recognized board.
• For admission in the honors subjects, the candidates should score a minimum of 50% aggregate and 45% marks in the subject.
• If the candidate chooses to opt for Honors course in a subject not included in their previous qualifying examination, they should score a minimum of 50% aggregate and 55% marks in the particular subject.
• For candidates belonging to Schedule Caste or Schedule Tribe, they should score a minimum of 40% marks in the subject of 40% aggregate for taking up the Honors course.
• For calculating the aggregate percentage, the marks of the top four subjects should be taken into consideration.

Candidates would not be allowed to take up Honors courses under the following subjects if they have not qualified the given subjects in the qualifying examination-
