Our college

Likes

College infrastructure is very good a very huge campus
Faculty experience is very good they teach well
Hospital op is incridible ..we can see many cases

Dislikes

Food and all are low quality and water supply is not so good
Delay of scholarship ..it delays upto year
Transport facility is very poor no buses are provided from hospital to collage

As mbbs is one of the toughest courses ...learning is better when we are clinically exposed to the hospital..i had a dream of becoming doctor to save lifes..it is very hard to puruse the mbbs we should work hard

A concise review of GMC NALGONDA

Likes

The curriculum is great,our college conducts regular slip tests and other formative assessments.
Our College has great patient inflow so we can see many cases
Supportive teachers and PGs also help us alot

Dislikes

The infrastructure of the college is just okish, although we are getting a new medical college. So there is gonna be improvement in the infrastructure.
There are no clubs in our college like chess club, research club etc.
The classes are ok, classes could be more interactive. Teachers reading PPTs are a problem everywhere.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is great, it is clinically oriented. In postings, we see many real life cases. And the professors also emphasize on the clinical relevance. Medicine as a field is very huge, so there are many things to memorize which is what I dislike but it is the essential evil. The teaching methods could be improved, make it more interactive. There are formative assessments every month. Internals are held every 3 months. The difficulty of the exam is slightly hard, you can easily pass the exams if you work from early on.

Likes

Academics and studies which are very good
Patient inflow at the hospital is very good and many cases come to our hospital
Faculty is well experienced and have good knowledge

Dislikes

It's been 5 years and still the permanent college campus is still under construction
No sufficient classrooms or lecture halls to sit
Library is only from 12 to 8 pm. After that it will be closed and not 24 hours like other college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very vast and has a lot to study. During exams time it's very stressful. Even then I chose those course because I love learning about the human body. The curriculum of MBBS is prepared by the NMC. NMC should take care that the curriculum of MBBS is not changed frequently. Depending upon the length of the academic year in the academic calender released by NMC exams are held by the university.

Likes

Hostel rooms are were hygeine and are provided with attached washrooms
Extracurricular activities and social aspects and fests are conducted
Teaching faculty - education is top class here with highest passing percentage in our state

Dislikes

Meals in hostel are not upto the mark ,
College infrastructure is not as good as hostel there are only two lectures galleries in college
Hostel is far from college so it is a bit difficult to travel daily

Course Curriculum Overview:

In case of rating the curriculum and comprehensivemess of course I would give it a 10/10. As I believe medical profession is the finest one . This curriculum prepares and turns all the students into professional medical graduates who can cure the illness As far as I know teaching methods in our university are excellent no need of any improvements

The faculty is very good, potential and talented as well
Patient out flow is good and that leads to good learning in the clinicals
Classroom environment and the schedule is good that makes us learn the subject properly

Dislikes

Infrastructure of the college is really poor
Hostels are far away from the college and hospital

Course Curriculum Overview:

To be specific this course is challenging and interesting. It deals with many things and unlike other courses we are exposed to workplaces more and which makes us learn even better. MBBS takes most of our time for studying and this is the only way to survive the course it's isn't easy. To pass and get marks is easy but learning things and stepping into a world with a responsibility to take care of human lives is hard. The curriculum is been changing and reforms are being made that made the course value higher and improved it's quality.

Fest has cultural and 4 days and sports fest for a week
