North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda and Homeopathy Shillong Faculty

The Ayurveda college has a sufficient number of faculties, with approximately 20 faculty members, while the Homeopathy department has fewer, with about 10 faculty members. Faculties in both departments are well-qualified, with most holding MD or PG degrees. The teaching approach emphasizes both theoretical and practical learning, with a focus on student-faculty interaction.

The curriculum is updated, though it requires further improvement. The examination process includes 2 terminal exams and 1 final exam per year, along with supplementary exams for students who fail. Despite the rigorous curriculum, few students fail. Faculty members are approachable, cooperative, and dedicated to helping students, although the faculty-to-student ratio is lower in Homeopathy.

Admission requires NEET qualification and selection through AACCC counseling.
