life in GURUDAS COLLEGE

Likes

very much active as a lot of functions and programmes are held for and by the students.
the campus is also very soothing to mind.

Dislikes

the location is some what isolated from the city as travelling is a problem for students living outside the city.

Course Curriculum Overview:

course duration is much storter and compact in nature. it does have real life relevence and can help in my aspects of life . however the teaching methods can be improved according the student mass. exam are difficult in nature and has a higher standard.

My Journey in Gurudas college

Likes

Our college teacher facilities are good as they help you for many competitions if you want to compete
Library is the must visit spot if you are a bookworm,you can have that peaceful environment for reading
You can play carrom, table tennis in the common room in your off time.

Dislikes

More classes need for b.com department as the college buildings are separate with each other.
Our college campuses can be maintained better
Pratical knowledge can be given to the students from the college via practical assignment or college trip

Course Curriculum Overview:

As gurudas college is very old college it has many history related to it. As I know there are good quality education is given I choose here . If they can add more practical classes and can arrange more realife influencial person for interview session for students to gain knowledge directly from them it canbe beneficial.

Gurudas college

Likes

I like the library in this college accessible and contains different Journals and books
Gym here is also very good and useful to the health conscious students
The faculty of this college is very good as the staff and professors are very helping

Dislikes

I didn’t like the canteen of this college at all because it’s always closed
Infrastructure of the commerce building is as good as the science building and very small relatively
Toilet saver, and very neat may cause issues to students

Placement Experience:

From the sixth Semester students were eligible to get placement. Seven companies like Wipro and Infosys visit our college each year for fulfilling their job vacancies, nearly each year around 30 to 40% of students get job jobs from the campus. And the highest paying package here is around Rs. 500000. My plans after Getting the degree that I would continue my studies so that I can get better job.

Review for Gurudas College

Likes

Things I like about this college is supportive teaching and staff faculty. One of my friends lost is class 10th examination certificate, he was worried but, staff helped him out of it.
The library of this college is state of the art and what are the most prestigious library in the state.
The labs in this college is really good, various chemicals in chemistry lab and specimens in biology lab is well preserved

Dislikes

I didn't like the canteen of this college as it always.
The commerce building is also not as good as the science building
The intersection in the commerce building is also outdated so and I hope it can be improve in near future

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 6th semester to become for campus placement companies like Wipro, Infosys etc. visit our college for job vacancies. The highest package a student can get from here is around Rs 500000 and average packages around Rs. 220000. Around 30% to 40% students get job placements from this college and my plans after the college is to do MBA to boost my image to and get a better paying job.

A Great Over-view on GURUDAS COLLEGE

Likes

Library - the library of the college looks really great.It contains a Variety of books, they even have fiction books(my fav genre: romcom)and the wall paintings with decorations are cherry on top
Gym - the college's gym has many equipments and has decent changing room
Seniors - the seniors here are so friendly

Dislikes

Infrastructure - the science building is well maintained unlike the commerce building...they should focus on commerce building more
Canteen - the canteen is always close...
Common room - they should add some benches here

Placement Experience:

From sem VI the students are eligible for campus placements Some common companies that visit for placements i.e.,TCS,Wipro,CTS etc Approx 30% of the students get placements I'm planning to persue my masters after my honours with research paper in B.Com

Regular Classes , teachers are very cooperative
College environment is very good , we play games in the ground
In our college we have personal playground beside the library

Dislikes

College gate should be more beautiful , gates look like very old
Tiles infront of college should be changed.
College benches should be changed , benches are too old .

I am interested in business , and i want to know more aboout business and the whole financial system, thats why i have choosen B.Com. The exams are very easy , you have to read the books and understand the concepts , it will help you in MCQs .

Likes and dislikes of my college life

Likes

Library have AC and good and clean environment
GYM with many instruments and all time open
Canteen will food available all time with affordable price and good taste

Dislikes

The bcom building is not very clean and not well painted
Bathroom in the commerce buildings are very unhygenic
Classes are not taken on time and suggestions are not circulated between all students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed this course because i loved accounts. Faculty, teachers are very good. Student ratio is large. Teaching method is fine . Exams occur in 5 to 6 months gap with 2 months learning ..its a little difficult to pass but not very difficult

Best college for building your career

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because, in the future, I want to work in the banking sector. The facilities are well behaved and friendly too and their teaching method is also good. Mainly there is 6 months interval between the semester exams.

Placement Experience:

I am not sure but from what I know, after the 5th semester, you are eligible for campus placement. I know less about companies that come here for hiring, but from what I know you will find good and good offers here. But still, you will get a good quality education here so you can apply for jobs after graduating from Gurudas college.
