Overall my college days experience

Likes

I will love to talk about my department professors first. they are really amazing, helpful and encouraging each and every students
Professors are always ready to guide their present students as well as their passed out batch students.
Every year our department organizes student seminars and do wall magazines so that students can discuss and share their point of view

Dislikes

Till 2023 there was some political party influence and their spooky behaviors but none of the students were harmed or not bother by any negativity.

I completed my graduation in English Literature and this course taught me to present my point of view, create my imagination about everything around me and write it down, beautify those thoughts and be vocal about those. Now come to the syllabus structure, The University of Calcutta syllabus is well-designed. I am completely satisfy with the syllabus pattern and even I am doing my Master's degree from University of Calcutta.

The course curriculum is not so bad and not so good and need to improvise as it will create a real impact for the students much better although it helped us to gain more knowledge and need some detailed attention to provide much more stuffs in the syllabus.

A brief review of gurudas college phoolbagan

Likes

The union room of the college and gym ofcourse
The faculty is also good and the infrastructure
The common room is also good and the tournaments which happens are also good

Dislikes

I don't like the politics which happens in the college
The classes are not so good does not feel like a college
The canteen is always off..we can't have anything

I am good in history and want to make career in it The faculty: students ratio is good their is no difficulty with it Yes the faculty is very good but not much efficient and also not very much helpful Exams is very poor in our college

Regular Classes , teachers are very cooperative
College environment is very good , we play games in the ground
In our college we have personal playground beside the library

Dislikes

College gate should be more beautiful , gates look like very old
Tiles infront of college should be changed.
College benches should be changed , benches are too old .

I am interested in business , and i want to know more aboout business and the whole financial system, thats why i have choosen B.Com. The exams are very easy , you have to read the books and understand the concepts , it will help you in MCQs .

Department and Faculty. They are very supportive and helpful. We don't need external assistance like tuitions. We have regular classes.
Campus Life is beautiful. I could have never thought of something like this. The campus is situated covering a vast area near the Phoolbagan main Road.

Dislikes

Routine is sometimes very tight. One Hons class followed by a general class thus if a class gets stretched we have difficulty in reaching the next class on the stipulated time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was interested in Mathematics so I choose to get into this course. The faculty is very dedicated and helpful. They are the best faculty in the whole college. All of them have completed their PhD and are always into studies. The term exams are conducted according to the guidelines and dates set by the Calcutta University.

Likes and dislikes of my college life

Likes

Library have AC and good and clean environment
GYM with many instruments and all time open
Canteen will food available all time with affordable price and good taste

Dislikes

The bcom building is not very clean and not well painted
Bathroom in the commerce buildings are very unhygenic
Classes are not taken on time and suggestions are not circulated between all students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed this course because i loved accounts. Faculty, teachers are very good. Student ratio is large. Teaching method is fine . Exams occur in 5 to 6 months gap with 2 months learning ..its a little difficult to pass but not very difficult

Highly qualified teachers and well trained laboratory technicians.

Dislikes

No campus placement, students have to apply for the jobs.

The microbiology department is good at Gurudas College, with well-qualified teachers holding Masters' and Ph.D. degrees, and the laboratory technician is also well-trained. Semester examinations are held twice yearly.

Literature has always been my passion. I cleared the joint entrance for B.Sc Nursing yet my passion followed me to a BA course. There were around 60 students. The faculties of Gurudas College believe in interactive teaching. The questions were hard, but nothing impossible le if you know your basics.

Best college for building your career

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because, in the future, I want to work in the banking sector. The facilities are well behaved and friendly too and their teaching method is also good. Mainly there is 6 months interval between the semester exams.

Placement Experience:

I am not sure but from what I know, after the 5th semester, you are eligible for campus placement. I know less about companies that come here for hiring, but from what I know you will find good and good offers here. But still, you will get a good quality education here so you can apply for jobs after graduating from Gurudas college.
