Vivekananda Business School (VBS) Mumbai offers AICTE approved PGDM program in 6 specializations. Alongside, it also offers a Fellow Program in Management. Eligible candidates must fill out the VBS Mumbai application form by visiting the official website of the institute. Candidates who have passed their graduation in the relevant discipline are eligible to apply for the PGDM course at VBS Mumbai and those with a master’s degree can apply for Fellow Program.

VBS Mumbai offers a 2-year full-time PGDM program in different specializations with an intake capacity of 180 (5% of 180 Seats i.e. 27 Seats are reserved for Foreign Nationals). Fee for the course is INR 4,50,000 in the first year and INR 4,30,000 in the second year. A full-time Fellow Program in Management is also offered at VBS Mumbai. The course duration is 2-5 years, wherein candidates must submit their thesis before the 5th year from the date of admission. The total intake capacity for the Fellow Program is 10 students per year and the annual fee is INR 60,000. This course is offered in 4 specializations and its admissions are done on the basis of  academic qualifications, work experience, tentative research proposal, its presentation before the selection committee, and a personal interview. Vivekanand Business School Fellow Program Eligibility

  • Master’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering and Technology, Management, Economics, Social Science, Biological Science, Pure Science, Commerce, Humanities with first class.

  • Those appearing for their final examination in the respective discipline can also apply. (Such students if selected shall be provisionally admitted provided they complete all their requirements in obtaining their Master’s Degree before 30th September of the year of admission. The admission of such candidates shall remain provisional until they produce mark sheet proving that they have satisfied the eligibility criteria. The deadline for submitting the final year mark sheet is 31st December of the year of admission)

Vivekanand Business School Admission Process

  • Aspirants must log in to the VBS Mumbai website @vbs.ves.ac.in to access the application form.
  • Fill-in the VBS Mumbai application form with the required details. Application forms for Vivekanand Business School Admissions are available on the institute’s website www.vbs.ves.ac.in or at the VBS Mumbai’s office between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm on all working days.
  • Upload all the necessary documents including an abstract of about 5000 words on the area of research interest (tentative research proposal) for Fellow Program.
  • Submit the Vivekanand Business School application form with an application fee of INR 1500
  • VBS Mumbai Admissions are strictly based on valid marks obtained in various national and state-level exams.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be called for Personal Interview round for PGDM and for Presentation in case of Fellow Program.
  • The decision of the Institution Selection Committee regarding admission will be final and communication will be sent only to the selected candidates.
  • List of successful candidates will be displayed on the institute’s notice board and on the Vivekanand Business School website. 
  • Next, the selected candidates must pay the prescribed fee within five working days from the date of the result.

The attested photo copies of the following documents should be enclosed along with the application form at the time of submission of application.

  • 1 Passport size recent color Photograph
  • Photocopies of Academic records including Marksheets and Passing Certificates of SSC, HSC, and Graduation (All Annual / Semester wise Mark Sheets & Passing certificates)
  • Master’s degree certificate and mark sheets of all the years (for Fellow Program)
  • Photocopy of Entrance Exam Score Card (National / State level)
  • Identity proof: Driving License/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card/ Voter Id)
  • Nationality proof: Birth Certificate/ School Leaving Certificate/ Passport/ Domicile Certificate
  • Any Address Proof
  • Caste Certificate (If Applicable)
  • Work Experience Letter (If Applicable)

Note: The original copies and one set of attested photo copies of the above mentioned documents are required at the time of admission. If a candidate fails to submit the above Certificates within the prescribed period of time, the admission will be treated as cancelled and no refund will be given.

Vivekanand Business School (VBS) offers an International Scholarship Scheme for 10 PGDM aspirants to study abroad at no extra cost! This scholarship is available for two students in each specialization: Marketing, Banking & Finance, Operations, Human Resources, and Business Analytics. With up to ₹50 lakh in funding, it covers travel, accommodation, food, and course fees, providing valuable global exposure.

B) VES Trust Financial Assistance Scheme (Samarthan)

The VES Trust gives financial assistance to the needy VES students in the name of “SAMARTHAN” for further education. Interested students may apply and get the financial assistance based on the eligibility criteria prescribed by the VES Trust. This financial assistance scheme will be subject to approval and approval related to all the rights are reserved.

C) Special Encouragement Scholarships

The Special Encouragement Scholarships are offered to female and physically-challenged toppers of Vivekanand Business School PGDM program. Given below are the details of the VBS Mumbai scholarship application:

  • Topper Female Student Scholarship: This merit-based scholarship is awarded to female students, who have secured high marks in their VBS Mumbai PGDM course. The selected student will receive an amount of Rs 25,000.​​
  • Topper Scholarship to PH – Physically Challenged Student: This scholarship provides financial assistance to differently-abled students based on their merit in the PGDM course of VBS Mumbai. The selected student will receive a reward amount of Rs 25,000.

D) Minority Scholarships

Under this Vivekanand Business School Scholarship scheme, Rs 25,000 is awarded on a merit-basis and is subjected to government policies and rules. Candidates applying for this scholarship scheme must also comply with the requirements and eligibility criteria. This scholarship is for candidates belonging to minority categories like Buddhists, Jains, Parsis, Sikhs, Christians, Jews, and Muslims.

E) Student Exchange Program

The Student Exchange Program (SEP) enables students to understand the global business scene, and increase their competencies to survive and work in a globalized environment. As a part of SEP, a number of international scholarships are now available to VBS Mumbai students. Selected students get an opportunity to study at the international partner Business Schools and Universities, or become a part of research, joint research projects or exchange publications. Since Vivekanand Business School has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) with many international Universities, the selected student receives an invitation from the International Office of the host University to visit and study at their campus. Moreover, several PGDM students of VBS Mumbai have received international scholarships too while studying a semester as part of SEP at University of Cartagena, Spain and University of Economics, Katowice, Poland.

Ans. Candidates can fill out the Vivekanand Business School admission form online by paying the admission fees of INR 1500. For eligibility you have to take any MBA entrance exam and secure a cut-off of that college and after clearing the GDPI round you are eligible for the course.
