RVITM offers admissions to various courses at the UG and PG levels in different specializations. It offers B.Tech as its flagship program in 5 different specializations. Admission to B.Tech programs is based on scores in KCET or COMEDK entrance exams, followed by the KEA or COMEDK counselling processes, respectively. RVITM B.Tech Admission 2025

RVITM offers B.Tech as its flagship course in 5 different specializations. Admission to these programs is based on scores in the KCET and COMEDK entrance exams, followed by KEA and COMEDK Counsellings, respectively.

For Management quota seats, candidates need to appear for any of the entrance exams such as KCET or COMEDK UGET, or IIT JEE, and must score a minimum of 60% in class 12 with physics and Maths as compulsory subjects.

RVITM also offers lateral entry in B.Tech for Diploma holders. Candidates must pass a Diploma with a minimum of 50% marks in the relevant branch. Admission is based on the DCET exam, followed by KEA Counselling.

RVITM MCA Admission 2025

RVITM offers MCA at the PG level. For admission to MCA, candidates have to pass a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 50% (45% for reserved candidates) with Mathematics as a compulsory subject at 10+2 or graduation. RVITM Admission Process 2025

RVITM offers admission through KCET, COMEDK UGET, and Management quota. The following are the steps that are involved in the admission process into RVITM.

Admission through KCET
- Karnataka candidates have to apply for the KCET entrance exam on the KEA website.
- Appear for the KCET exam, after the results, participate in the KEA counselling process.
- In the counselling process, candidates can choose RVITM as their preferred college.
- After that, candidates can pay the fee through the KEA portal and report to the college.
- Admission is based on KCET rank, category, and preferences.
Admission through COMEDK
- Candidates have to register for the COMEDK UGET entrance exam (open to all Karnataka & Non-Karnataka) on the COMEDK website.
- Appear for the COMEDK exam.
- After the result, participate in the COMEDK central counselling, and select RVITM during the counselling rounds.
- Admission is based on the COMEDK rank, category, and preferences.
- Pay the fee, and report to RVITM to complete the admission.
Admission through Management Quota
- Candidates have to contact the RVITM Admission office directly.
- Candidates need to have a minimum of 60% in class 12 and 70% in class 10, and must appear for the KCET or COMEDK, or JEE entrance exam.
- Admission is based on the rank, academic performance, and seat availability.
- Receive the allotment letter and join the college.
- The Annual fee will range from INR 6 to 12 LPA in the first year.

RVITM - Everything you need to know before joining!

Admission:

I mainly chose this college since it has the RV logo in it as most of the students who have joined the college. The placements will be done by clubbing RVCE students and RVITM students which is what caused me to join this college over other colleges since RV is one of the biggest names in the country when it comes to education. The main reason I couldnt make it to other colleges was because my KCET rank was higher than what was required. I did make a priority list of all the colleges i wanted to get into and the same priority was used during the 2 rounds of KCET admission process. I did get into Electronics and communication at BNMIT in the first round of the KCET admission process which i was not happy with and hence also applied to the second round of the admission process. I got into RVITM on the second round. Eligibilty criteria is decided mainly by your KCET ranks and COMEDK ranks. The students who got into the college were around half from KCET and the other half from COMEDK and KCET is more preffered by the students since obviously the fee is lesser than COMEDK. The overall admission experience was smooth both at the KCET level and the college level.

Admission:

The eligibility for joining is to pass 12th grade in any central/state board. There are several ways to get admission like Kcet , Comed-k and management quota. The exams for Kcet and Comed-k are conducted the by Karnataka qovt prior to the start of college admission usually in the month of April and may. The obc and SC St category students get scholarship benefits from the government. The internal exams are conducted twice in a semester and are of easy to medium level difficult.
