Government Polytechnic College Kolhapur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The Placement is provided by Popular Companies But Problem is the getting select for Job is Very Hard. My plan after getting degree is start own construction business in Kolhapur 55 percentage students get placements L&T company visited last year in College Campus last (6) Semester student will apply for placement

Companies like bajaj, philips, tata etc. come for placement drives, also off campus placements are provided by college. Average package is 3 LPA. Generally most students opt for higher education, so very few actually apply for placements.

Talking about placement, of course there are different companies visited to college for placement. Like Techmahindra, tcs, kpit etc. Average package is 3Lpa.My plan after this to face competitive exam which is my moto.

There are many choices of college but this college is best because of the good stuff and the classroom are clean and all equipment is available all courses have different departments. The faculties are good the teaching techniques are very good all practical and lecture are completed within time in one class there is 70 student in the second year and first year 60 students. The qualification of the faculty is nice all faculty is well educated M.Tech complete and their teaching method is also good. The exam is completed in the academic year there is no issue there is no difficulty to pass exam.

I took a mechanical engineering course because I wanted to become a mechanical engineer so I thought that instead of doing 11th and 12th let's do a diploma for a strong base. There are 120 students in the department. 85%or more can get admission to college. The teacher is so good but students have to do self-study for better marks. Two unit tests after a 1-month gap and an end exam after 15 days after unit test 2. Exams are easy and passing is very simple. The course is very excellent and also known as the core branch of engineering. Some Faculty members very good and always ready to help students with any problem and some are very bad and make students fell that they have done a mistake by taking admitted in college
