Sir JJ Institute of Applied Arts BFA Admission 2023

Sir JJ Institute of Applied Art offers an Under-Graduation course of four-year duration in Bachelors of Fine Arts.

Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with minimum 45% marks. Admission is done on the basis of MH-AAC-CET entrance examination. Candidates from Maharashtra and Outside Maharashtra (OMS) are both eligible to apply for this entrance exam, provided OMS candidates cannot apply for CAP counselling conducted by the Maharashtra candidates. OMS Candidate can apply through institute level seats. CAP counselling is conducted for Maharashtra state candidates on the basis of entrance score for final admission.

The college offers MFA degree in five specializations. The minimum eligibility for this degree is BFA degree from a recognized university or institute.

The college offers two basic Apprentice Training Courses in Photography and Interior Decoration, which are both part-term courses for a one-year duration.

There are no separate qualification criteria for joining, but candidates with SSC with Arts or SSC or Intermediate Drawing Grade Examination are eligible for admission. Admission is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.

Sir JJ Institute of Applied Arts Application Process 2023

The application form must be filled and submitted through online process only. The application fees must also be paid online.

Candidates must visit the official website of DOA to apply online.
Fill the asked information and enter a password and click on Next.
Candidate will receive a confirmation email confirming the registration of the candidate.
After editing and checking the details, upload current passport photograph and signature in jpg/jpeg format in ‘Upload Photograph & Signature’ and click on Submit.
Pay the application fees via online gateway, select the mode of payment and click on Pay.
After payment, click on Generate MH-AAC-CET Registration Confirmation Page and save it for future reference.
Application Fees: INR 1700 for general category and INR 1200 for reserved category

How I regret taking admission at this college

Admission:

Applied for rachna sansad and Viva . But I always heard about hmthis college to be the best in Maharashtra. It's a. Myth. All the toppers go in this college. But the college doesn't deserve the best artists of Maharashtra.

Admission:

admissions in the college is done by clearing an state level entrance examination i.e. MH-AAH-CET in which a candidate have to score a minimum percentage of marks to take admissions into it. the marks of your HSC or any previous qualifying examination equivalent to 10+2 is also considered while making the list of the final selected students.

the admissions in BFA program of the college is done by the entrance exam which is conducted by the state body of Maharashtra i.e. MH-AAH-CET in which you have to score at least minimum marks to clear it, it is not an easy exam although. the merit list is prepared by the college after considering your scores of 12th.
