CENTRAL POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE TRIVANDRUM - My POV

Likes

The playground,the faculties, placement opportunities
Lab facilities is top notch, laptops,pc for each student
Smart classrooms with AC smart borad with wifi

Dislikes

Canteen is average, it's not owned directly by college , food is average
Some toilets are completely damaged no water in there
There is no funding for college union all programs conducted by the union is from student's money

Placement Experience:

They offer many placement opportunities to students many companies come here for placing freshers. The faculties assist us very much for getting placed they arrange classes based on this etc.Many high paying companies came here recently and many are yet to come.

The curriculum looks easy to understand and the course opens up various new job opportunities. Exams are conducted semester-wise each semester withe 6 months with a moderately difficult level. There are not many areas to improve in the curriculum and teaching methods.

Mainly the Classes were updated to Smart Class and have high facilities required for studies.
The Ambience of this college is good for a good and fresh minds.

Dislikes

The college ground is not good for playing sports at a good level. Surroundings are grass filled badly.
There's no WiFi connection at Hostel, thereby students staying hostel can't search for information in their mobile sometimes because of low mobile data connection.

Placement Experience:

The students who studying in semester 5 are allowed for the campus placement. Many companies are interviewed students here by many Professionals. Companies from Technopark and Infosys conduct interviews here. About 50% of students got campus placement in the college.

Better parking facilities for all the students.
