DHGMCH has released the regulations for admission to Pharm. D. and M. Pharm. courses for the academic year 2024. The last date to apply is November 11, 2024. The admit card will be released on November 16, 2024, and the entrance exam will be held on November 19, 2024. The tentative date for the declaration of results is November 25, 2024, and the counselling will be held on November 28, 2024.

The online registration portal for B.Sc Nursing Admission is open from Oct 1, 2024 till Oct 30, 2024. Those who are unable to complete the online registration during the above-mentioned time, the same portal will be available for them till Jan 31, 2025 with an Applicable late fee. Likes

Infrastructure almost complete with required facilities
Management is very good as it is new college

Dislikes

Some buildings are still under-construction
It is a peripheral college 60 km from Kolkata

Fees and Financial Aid:

Fee structure 1st year- 11000 2nd year-13000 3rd year-18000 4rth year-10000 These contain yearly sports, hostel, administration, adminission fees Students with SC ST OBC and minority and non creamy layer get the benefits of scholarship through University.

Likes

Much better hostel rooms, class rooms and auditorium than older medical colleges.
Easy accessibility to KOLKATA and other peripheral distructs via direct buses and local trains

Dislikes

Senior Junior relationship strained with a weak alumni bond
Too strict about attendance and marks, hence puts high pressure on students to excel. Gets tiring.

Pros and cons of medical college

Likes

The hostel rooms, college infrastructure and the hospital.
The overall campus is good and teachers are also well educated

Dislikes

The hostel food and the climate of this place

Fees and Financial Aid:

There is no such fee hike policy in my college. As compared to other medical colleges of India the colleges of West Bengal have relatively less fees. As of now, I am not availing of any scholarship or financial assistance.

Our course is always updated. We are having good clinical exposure. Our faculties are caring and loving and they do their best to teach us correctly. Especially our Dean mam. She inspires us to study more.
