Upon completion of the MBBS course, students participate in a mandatory 1-year internship, primarily at government hospitals such as the District Hospital Firozabad, affiliated with ASMC Firozabad. During this period, students receive a stipend that ranges from Rs 12,000 to Rs 25,000 per month, depending on the college, and work across all clinical departments, gaining both practical and theoretical knowledge. Following the internship, graduates are required to fulfill a 2-year service bond with the State Government, earning a salary of approximately Rs 90,000 to Rs 100,000 per month, with a total package of Rs 12 lakh for the duration.
This bond ensures a 100% placement rate for graduates in government hospitals as medical officers or junior residents. Those wishing to pursue further education can take the NEET PG exam for a postgraduate degree, during which they receive a monthly stipend of at least Rs 1 lakh. If a student opts to break the bond, they must pay a penalty of around Rs 10 lakh. Overall, the program provides comprehensive training and job security, with ample opportunities for further specialization and career advancement.
