College has promised the students to provide 100% placement assistance and that's what we are hoping once we finish our course but in my personal opinion it's the duty of the students too to be deserving for that opportunity. Just because you are a student of some film institute and you have paid fees doesn't mean that you deserve to be get placed in one of the top film production houses irrespective of your skill, attitude and dedication. Having the filmmaking degree and being well trained are two different things and if you are planning to join the college then go ahead while keeping in mind that you might have ups and downs depending upon certain situations which might be out of your control but keeping the positive attitude, consistency and honesty towards your craft would be in your control and that's what will make you deserving and ofcourse the college would support you as a student . Best wishes.
Student start doing internships in the summer and winter vacations, and the faculty are people working the industry too, so they may invite some students over for work too. Otherwise post placement the college promises placement, but that's subject to availability of work. Till now we're the first batch so we haven't graduated yet so no final placements have been made, but alot of us have worked with Ramesh Sippy Productions and others as interns. Some have even worked independently as freelancers in their freetime
