Inside my college -gp latehar

Likes

Fees are very low and affordable compared to other colleges.
Some teachers are very knowledgeable and explain topics with examples. Specialy asfaak sir
Course curriculum gives a good base for further studies or technical work. They are too good

Dislikes

Girls to boys ratio is very low, around 10–15% girls only.😅
The main thing is No strong support for internships, students mostly find on their own.
For campus life is very boring because there is no extra activities

I choose GP Latehar mainly because it is literally infront of my house and that makes things very easy for me, like no travel cost and I can manage my time better. I had also checked few other govt colleges like GP Daltonganj and GP Ranchi but honestly their distance and hostel issues were a bit problem for me, plus the cutoffs were also slightly higher in some trades. I didn’t apply to many private colleges because the fees there are too high and I didn’t wanted any extra financial load on my family. The admission process here was simple, you just have to fill the JCECEB polytechnic form, wait for the counselling list and then go for document verification. The cutoff for my trade was manageable so I got the seat without much trouble. Compared to other colleges, the environment here is more relaxed and teachers are also helpful for local students, and since the college is near my home I can attend classes regular basis so I go that time

Likes

Behaviour of all the faculties is so good and they are very polite
Hyegiene is very well maintained in hostels
Hostel mess food is so good for human consumption

Dislikes

There is shortage of usable water in hostel
College campus is in very outer area of town
Electricity problem in hostel mostly in summer days

There are many government colleges in Jharkhand which are better than my college like government polytechnic dhanbad , government polytechnic ranchi and government polytechnic adityapur but i got this college according to my rank in JCECEB entrance exam. I applied for polytechnic college after my 10th board and i got admission in gp latehar

FIRST YOU HAVE TO FILL THE FORM FROM THE WEBSITE THAT IS - jcecb. jharkhand.gov.in Eligibility is - Minimum 10th pass APPLICATION FEES IS UNDER 1000RS APPLICATION DATE - IN MONTH OF APRIL OR MAY The entrance exam will be organized . Then you have to paper on that exam . After that after a month you will get the result. You will get your rank. Then you to apply for counselling for the course. After counselling you will get the college. And you have to take the admission within 15 days. IF YOU BELONG TO THE RESERVATION. YOU WILL GET THE BEST COLLEGE BY THE RESEVATION. WHEN YOU FILL THE FORM AFTER A MONTH EXAM WILL BE HELD. IF YOU BELONGS TO THE RESERVATION .PLEASE PREPARE YOUR ALL THE DOCUMENTS REALTED TO THAT

Government Polytechnic Dhanbad

Admission:

First of all you have to appear the exam of Jharkhand Combined Entrance Exam of polytechnic .Exam will be of 150 marks ,it will be a mcq type just like other competitive exam. If your score Above 90 marks your rank will be good and guaranteed you will be selected in GP Adityapur for Other college cut off mark 80+ .I am suggesting Government Polytechnic Adityapur because it is one of the best college of Jharkhand and the placement record of this college is very good. After then result will be declared by the board you have to reach Ranchi for your seat allotment or it may be through online also.Where you have to give chance to select you to a college where you want to take admission according to your CML rank. For reservation categories the cut off mark is very less for SC and ST .40-50 marks for best colleges like Government Polytechnic Adityapur and Government Polytechnic Dhanbad. The Admission fees are very cheap approx 700-800 rupees for reserved Categories and 1500-2000 for non cat

Admission:

First of all, we have to get rank in the exam of JCECEB after that counselling will be done, hence if you get seats then it will be confirmed your seat and after that go to college office for admission, there you should have to carry your all documents like 10th admit card, mark sheet, provisional, passing and school leaving certificate, and photos, Your aadhar card, your medical certificate is also be there for your fitness level, good college life hostel-type arrangement and mess also, professors are well highly educated and well-mentained decepline.
